How do you judge which size to purchase?

Hi there - we have a size guide on our website but I'm not sure if Amazon will allow the link to be seen on here as they usually block website addresses. But if you go onto our website which is activehands dot com then go to the Shop page and click on the General Purpose Gripping Aid, there's a heading which says, 'What size am I?' and if you click on that you can check. Can it be used with no fingers? (Amputee)

My daughter uses them to improve the grip as she has a loss of control (diminished motor ability) as a consequence of a stroke suffered 18 months ago, the gloves do a great work!. I just asked about your question and her therapist was present, both had said that these will work well for amputee. Nevertheless, I suggest consulting with your doctor or therapist, they should give you a better answer. Take care and good luck!

Could this be used to hold onto a bicycle handle?

Hi there - Yes, it could be used to hold onto a bicycle handle - but we must stress that the aid does not have a 'quick-release' and once the aid is strapped onto the object the user is holding it can only be released by unfastening the velcro first. The aid could be left a little more 'slack' in order for the aid to be pulled off from the side of the handle but it wouldn't then be holding the user's hand in place as securely. Thank you.
