BSN TRUE-MASS Weight Gainer, Muscle Mass Gainer Protein Powder, Strawberry Milkshake, 5.82 Pound

I'm one of those people who can't gain weight even if I were to inject pure bacon grease through an IV into my arteries... Through the years I've used multiple different high calorie weight gainers along with working out and this one is so far the best, by a long shot. I've used some with higher calorie counts before, but they did not taste well and were super thick, almost to the point you had to chew them... Pretty gross. I've ordered quite a few containers of this BSN now, have had chocolate a few times and just started getting strawberry and they all mix up in 16oz of water very easily using a blender bottle. For the chocolate I add 2-3 teaspoons of Nestle Quik to it... makes it taste quite a bit better. The strawberry to me is the better tasting of the two and also seemingly lighter/smoother. One odd thing, every container I've had of these have included a different scoop. I could swear that the scoop size changes... I don't know if this is normal or what, but it sure is strange. Amazon subscribe and save sweetens the deal. I have it so it sends me both strawberry and chocolate at different intervals. I will probably try vanilla eventually too. UPDATE (04/17/12): I've been using the Cookies & Cream flavor the past 2 months and it is in my opinion, hands down, the best tasting one I've used of these. It seems to mix up even better than the others and tastes the most realistic. Also has little cookie crunches in it. After 3 months of using this product I've put on a good 10 lbs. While that doesn't sound like a lot, it is for me. I've never been able to put on weight regardless of products used, especially keep it on. So, it's been working well. Again, I highly recommend the Cookies & Cream flavor. As far as performance goes, it does work. I've put on about 12 lbs the past few months of lean muscle and I can visually tell that my workouts are more effective while on the BSN product than other weight gainers I have used in the past.

I switched from a traditional whey protein powder to this mass gainer to gain weight and, what can I say, I gained weight. I packed on an additional 5 pounds in a month taking this product with proper weight/strength training. I'm a skinny guy with a fast metabolism and will undergo rapid weight loss during cardio training (I'm talking a 10 pound drop in two weeks). I used this product a second time while training for a physical fitness test (which consisted of a hundred crunches, 20 pull ups, and a 3 mile run) and maintained weight without loss for the first time. This is a high quality product to which I am very satisfied with. The mix itself when used according to it's directions is very thick, and sweet. The flavor is delicious, in my opinion, as well. The serving size is huge and will fill up an entire traditional protein drink mixer. Don't expect it to last more than a month. If you take this everytime you workout, it will probably last you 3 weeks. What I especially like about this product compared to other protein supplements is that it doesn't make you bloated, despite the fact that it is a mass gainer. I felt recovered, bigger, and stronger when taking this one. I'm currently trying out different products but will likely return to this one.

Dang this is good!! The strawberry is great!! Been using this for about 3 weeks and already noticed a difference. Gained about 4 pounds. I am def a hardgainer. The shake is very easy on the stomach, no bloating at all. One morning, one lunch and if can manage to squeeze one in before bedtime, I do. Def will continue to use BSN true mass. Ordered two more tubs and I know for sure I will continue. Got this bad boy on subscription at just over $31 a tub. Def cheaper that stores. Mixes just fine, very smooth. I add creatine to mine and down it goes. If your a hardgainer like me, I would def recommend this product. I know we are all different, but this works for me. No gas either super plus for me.

Most protein shakes just taste plain awful but this Strawberry Milkshake flavor is soooo bomb!! It’s a lot of calories so it took me a sec to finish it but it is definitely worth it. THE 1200 calorie one is NOT the same as the 690 calorie one!! For whatever reason, the 1200 is nasty. The 690 is unmatched!! PLEASE get more in stock ASAP Amazon!!

I'm a pretty skinny guy, I have always been so gaining weight has been challenging for a couple of reasons. First, I don't want to just gain weight by eating junk food, fried and fatty foods for obvious health reasons and secondly, its really difficult to find a weight gainer powder that actually tastes good. Before True Mass, I have tried Muscle Milk, an off brand from Target and the GNC powder. They all had their short-comings, especially in the taste department. Based on a suggestion from a friend, I decided to buy the True-Mass and I was simply blown away by how amazing it tastes. I mix 3 scoops with 12 ounces of 2% milk and 2 ounces of water and it mixes really well w/o becoming too thick. It feels like I'm drinking a strawberry milkshake and the best part is that there is absolutely no after-taste! Its been almost three weeks now and I have gained nearly 6 pounds (I workout 3 times a week as well) which may not seem like a lot but knowing how difficult it is for me to put on weight, I'm excited.

As an athletic woman with lean muscle, this product has helped me maintain muscle & train longer without feeling depleted. It contains the right amount of calories, protein, fat & glucose polymers to keep me strong at the end of four hours of training. The strawberry flavor is light & BSN products have never upset my stomach. Thank you!
