FolkArt Metallic Acrylic Paint in Assorted Colors (2-Ounce), 506 Silver Anniversary

This was used to paint the raised lettering on a mailbox sign. The color is perfect for what I needed. I thinned it with water to get a smoother finish. It took longer to dry because of that and required several thin coats, but the end result is an extremely durable finish. Great Purchase.

I used this for a craft and it turned out really nice. Not as metallicy as you’d think but it’s nice and subtle. You can build up the metallic look with multiple coats which is what I ended up doing but for the price, you really can’t beat this brand. It has no smell and washes off super easy which I love.

Bought a metallic gold color just before Christmas and unlike other brands these weren't marked way up because of their potential holiday use. A couple bucks a bottle is a great price for any craft activities and we do a lot here! Color application is easy and pigmented well, this one in particular was used on plastic. I did end up doing 2 layers just in case but it was very pretty and didn't show line marks like another used the same way. The ads color photo was also very accurate!

The color of this paint is very pretty and shiny, which is perfect for my cupcake tin craft@! Very smooth and easy to use and no excessive smell. I definitely will be purchasing more since the price is right!

My Folk art 670 blue pearl was purchased for the metallic coloring and it delivered that nicely. I’ve been using Folk art paints for over a decade now , and some of the paints I have are that old. These paints can last if kept sealed and stored properly. I took off one star as my paint arrived un-sealed and showed signs of prior use ( container was only 80% filled) , plus it was a bit dried out. Considering how fair the price is, who ever returned it was a major cheapskate, but an un-sealed bottle should’ve been checked. Ultimately I was glad to find this color at such a good price and I can recommend Folk art paints, the bottle size provides a good amount and the colors apply well, good coverage & blendable.

I bought several colors of the metallic acrylic paint to use on my pottery bells (instead of glazing and firing them). The coverage is excellent, and the metallic effect comes through very nicely. They dried with a nice gloss, but I decided to seal the paint with Mod Podge to keep everything intact.

Color was a bit brighter than shown. Blends in well and easy. Doesnt smell at all. Overall good quality of paint and color
