It works! Less stinky than other tanners 👍🏼
I used to use this product a decade ago or more, so I decided to try it again. I’m on a budget and need a white girlie tan! 😆 This in-shower lotion was under $10! I’ve always liked the tan I get from Jergen’s gradual self-tanners, both the lotion and this product. I feel like this one is a little quicker to develop compared to the regular lotion. I attached a pic of my leg 3 days apart. I applied “medium to deep” after my bath 2 nights in a row. I noticed a subtle glow the first time, and now I think I’ve achieved the light tan I was going for! I don’t want to look too dark or fake, so now I’ll just maintain it by applying it every 2-3 days. It doesn’t stink nearly as much as others do. It’s a little perfumey, but I like it. I haven’t gotten too many streaks or patches. No color on my clothing or sheets. When I wake up, I smell a faint fake tanner smell, but it washes away. If I can’t shower right away (like when I have to take my son to his bus stop), I just wipe off with wipes and use a smelly lotion…. It works! My tips: Apply it to freshly wet skin, but start with a quarter-size amount. I do my upper body first, use the leftover on my hands to apply to my face, then do my lower half. I avoid going between toes and fingers. On the second night, I also avoided my knees, ankles, and elbows. If you have dry skin, apply a small amount of regular lotion to those areas first (even on damp skin). Scrub any areas that look too saturated to achieve an even tan. Slightly orange in pics, but in person it has a healthy glow and looks richer! Makes me feel more confident in shorts and at the gym. ☀️

Nice subtle and works
So far I like this product. The smell is pleasant and I can already see a hint of color after two uses. It goes on really well and absorbs quickly. Good product. I always have enjoyed Jergwns products. Can’t go wrong with the quality. Now if u want a deep dark tan overnight go get sprayed.

Works Great! Be Sure to Use Towel Afterwards!
Product itself (Fair to Medium) works great. Super easy to use right after you turn the water off in the shower/bath. Definitely provides color and feels soft; however, BE SURE to use a towel to dry off or you WILL see streak lines from water dripping off your skin...and it's not always easy to blend even when putting additional lotion on to try and hide the streaks.

When in doubt, try it out! Best one yet!!
I got my tan back and it looks awesome!! I can't say enough good things about this stuff! I am a product of the eighties, back when laying out in the sun all day followed by a stint in a tanning bed was the norm. Years and years of excessive exposure to UV and UB rays netted me the lesser evil of skin cancer all over myself. My face, my arms, my back. I haven't worn white in years because you can see the sores. The treatments make them that much worse and I hide in long sleeves etc. I gave up the tanning beds 10 years ago. Naturally, I am a pasty white with freckles and strawberry blonde hair. For years and years I have tried every sunless tanning lotion only to end up looking very orange, Must be my natural red tones. For the last 3 summers, I have used Jergen's Natural Glow daily moisturizer, but have had to add regular lotion to it so it didn't go on so thick and make me look even orangier. It also always accentuated my sun marks and age spots, never giving an even coverage. I really looked hideous as I only did what was exposed in the hot months, like my face, neck, arms and legs. I was intrigued when I found they had a different one that you could apply to wet skin. I read the reviews, they were good, not great, but I'll try anything to get my tan back. Fast forward....... OMG! Now I know why I tanned in the first place. This stuff makes me look like what I used to years ago. I am glowing! The coverage is even, thorough, and actually tan, not orange. It does not make my damaged skin look any redder where I have spots. This new stuff is awesome!!! So much easier and faster to apply than the lotion cause it's going on wet skin. I did get streak marks the first time, but have found the more you rub in, the better the outcome. And a little goes a very long way. I look sun kissed:) I just celebrated my 51st birthday. Someone actually said I look like I'm in my late 30's, early 40's! I no longer see any age or sun spots and my skin is so soft too. For any doubter's out there, I have tried them all. Really, I have. So far this is my favorite faux tan and I have no reason to look any further. Get your tan on!!

Best in shower lotion
I discovered this a while back and now I can’t go without it! The hydration is amazing and the color it adds is def noticeable. The smell could be a little better but I don’t mind it! Perfect if you self tan too to keep the tan fresh

Convenient! Subtle color- subtle smell - some streaking
I love the convenience of this self tanner: it's easy to apply- I found it streaked less when applied to slightly damp skin instead of wet skin, it smells good at first but after a few hours it has a subtle "self tanner" smell. Even though no one else could smell it, it still made me self conscious so I mainly used it on days where I planned on being home all day. I liked the subtle color change because it felt more natural.

I tried both options
I have been using sunless tanning lotions for years now and I was curious about this one since it was for wet skin. This was appealing to me since it seemed way more convenient than rinsing it off after a few hours like most of the tinted ones I love so much. Most of the transparent lotions I use, however, get splotchy, so I wanted to put this one to the test. I started with the Light to Medium lotion. I used it after a shower and exfoliating with a sugar scrub, I shook off excess water and then applied the lotion. I gently patted dry with a towel and immediately got dressed. I didn't see any color transfer on my clothing or my towel after having it on all day/night. The first day was a little disappointing. No noticeable color change. I decided to try it again the next day and I slowly was seeing a tan as the day progressed. I repeated the same steps for 5 days and the color in my photo is what my final result was! I was pleased that there was minimal streaking and splotches. Day 6 and 7 I used the Medium to Tan lotion. Here is where I ran into some issues. Maybe I put the lotion on too many days in a row so there was build up of lotion, but it seemed to flake off of my skin when I skipped the tanning lotion and just did a normal daily moisturizer on day 8. I also noticed streaking and splotches. Specifically on my legs. My arms and torso still looked pretty good and evenly tan. I decided to exfoliate and start over on day 10 with the Light to Medium again. Overall, I would say if you have a very fair skin tone, try the Light to Medium first. I am "classic ivory" skin tone and the lighter lotion took longer to develop, but was even and looked nicer. Another helpful tip is that I did not apply the lotion to my wet face. I got out of the shower, got dressed, then used the lotion on my dry face. WASH YOUR HANDS after applying to wet or dry skin. I may give the Medium to Tan another try, but shower a couple times without the tanning lotion before I do to see if that helps with splotching and flaking off. Pros: - Easy to use - Fast application - Doesn't get on clothing - Smells nice even after wearing for hours it doesn't have a terrible sunless tanning smell, just a light, tolerable smell develops - I don't mind having it on throughout my day - More convenient than tinted or non-wet skin tanning lotions Cons: - The Medium to Tan flaked off of my skin - I felt kind of itchy after being in the sun (wear sunscreen to prevent this) - Medium to Tan was splotchy on my skin tone

Practice Makes Perfect
There is a learning curve to all self tanners. I have been using them for years due to skin cancer years ago. I use gloves and put on skin in a circular motion so there will be no streaks. Self tanners may streak if you rub it in a vertical or horizontal manner. Rub, rub, and rub until all the lotion is soaked in. Afterwards, take a dry washcloth and rub knees, backs of knees, ankles, wrists, armpits, and neck while gradually rubbing into the surrounding skin. You don't want the lotion on those areas but you don't want to take off the lotion on the surrounding areas so just do a gradual rubbing. Even with gloves, you will get the lotion on the wrists, so pay close attention to rub off the lotion on the wrists. If you have sunspots, freckles, moles, and other spots on your skin, remember it will also turn those areas darker, which is the reason I do not put it on my face. I usually put on self tanners right before bed and wear old long pajama pants because it may rub off on your clothes or sheets. By the next morning, the tanner will have worked and you can take a shower. You will see brown tanner run off your skin in the shower, but don't worry because the tanner will have already started darkening your skin. It may take some practice, but If you follow these instructions, you should develop a flawless and pretty tan. I usually use the tanner about once a week in order to keep a good tan. Also, you can still get sunburned, so use sunscreen. Now you can have a pretty tan without damaging your skin in the sun.
