Inkbird Monitors My RV Refrigerator When I'm Away
As we were planning an extended trip, I purchased the Inkbird to monitor my RV when it's existing monitor failed. However prior to my trip, the existing one became reliable. As my wife wanted to keep the refrigerator on while we were away, I placed the Inkbird in it. Now we have confidence that all of our food remained at the appropriate temperature the entire time. No risk of loss of power/refrigeration, food spoils, power/refrigeration returns, and we return thinking that the food has been kept cool the entire time. The Inkbird was very easy to setup and records an update every 2 hours (my choice). The alarms work!!! My wife started defrosting the refrigerator and Inkbird promptly sent me an alarm. I recommend it to anyone that needs to monitor the temperature of something. Yesterday, I recommended it to a fellow RVer who was planning to get a cat as a way to know if his RV got to hot for the cat while he was out. One year update; I purchased an Inkbird TH3 for my RV a year ago, but ended up using it to monitor my refrigerator. Although it's not designed for that application, it worked well all year. This year, I wanted to monitor my RV. Therefore, I purchased another Inkbird TH3. It has been working well for about a month. It's comforting to know that both the refrigerator and RV are maintaining my desired temperatures. I recommend it to anyone that needs to monitor the temperature of something.

Disappointed After a Year – Not Worth It
I had high hopes for the INKBIRD WiFi Thermometer Hygrometer (IBS-TH3) when I first bought them. The setup was simple, and it worked well for the first few months. But after about a year, all 4 that I purchased completely stopped working without any clear reason. No amount of resetting or troubleshooting could bring it back to life. Even before it gave out, the battery life was terrible. I constantly had to replace batteries way more often than advertised, even with minimal usage and in stable indoor conditions. For a device that's supposed to be "smart," it feels like a total letdown. Save your money and invest in something more reliable. This one doesn’t stand the test of time.

Not "Real-Time" reporting, But Once Per Hour
I bought 2 of these wifi temperature "pucks" to place in our RV stored in the barn during the coldest 2 months of winter, as we don't winterize the RV. These are a great convenience and inexpensive peace of mind to remotely monitor from anywhere, the temperature. These units do not have a local temperature readout, as I didn't need that. I think Inkbird makes a slightly more expensive model that has both wifi AND local temperature/humidity display. I only need the Inkbird App, as I regularly monitor 4 different Inkbird products in one place on my phone. I place these sensors under both the bathroom sink and kitchen sink in our RV, to insure the temperature we are maintaining remains around 35F. Most of the RV plumbing is in these areas, and they are furthest and lowest distance from the controlled heat source in the RV. When opening the App, you only get to see the temperature as reported at the selected interval. It also logs a trend, with a graph of temp and humidity at the selected interval. I chose 1 hour intervals because it's a balance between battery life and periodic updates. 1 hour allows approx. 4 or 5 month battery life I believe. If they designed it to use 3 "AA" batteries instead of 3 "AAA", the runtime would be trippled, or the sensing interval could be shorter. 1 hour for me is fine, as temperatures inside the barn, as well as temperatures inside the RV do not drop that quickly. The reason I gave "Accuracy" 3 stars is not because they are Inaccurate, but because you have to go into the App and adjust the temperature calibration (easily) to Make them accurate. It allows colder or warmer adjustments of increments of 0.1 degrees F. You have to compare what it displays on the App with a "known" accurate source. Out of the box my 2 units were a few degrees off from each other. I need accuracy around 32F, so only concerned myself with calibrating in this temperature range. Not sure if it throws off accuracy at the upper "hot" end, but these suit my needs perfectly. Am thinking of getting a couple more. These units save me countless trips to the barn over the winter to insure freeze protection is working as expected.

Have it monitoring my greenhouse, easy to use, connects well to WiFi even in my garden, app is clear and easy to use. If you are looking for an easy solution to temperature and humidity monitoring then I recommend this unit. It also monitors dew point and static air pressure. Useful and well priced unit.

You might be able to do the setup for the 1st time. But if you need to change the network and tey to do the setup another tome, though luck, you will not succeed even if it is the same wifi network with another name. Bad prouct

Purchased three of these and they are working well. One of them had a trouble with temperature detection, raised a support request via mail. They verified the purchase and sent me a replacement the same day and received a working sensor. The sensors itself are of excellent quality and accurate readings
