I use this in all sorts of asian dishes from fried rice to kung pao chicken. It's absolutely necessary if you want you dishes to have that authentic flavor. This was a key ingredient in making my fried rice tasting more like take out. It is a good size bottle and will last a long time. The two pack is a great deal. This is the second time I'm buying this cooking wine.

This is a quality Chinese cooking wine. It smells and tastes like you’d expect a salted cooking wine to taste. The couple bottles I’ve ordered have all come intact and sealed, no leak. Relatively speaking this is a fair priced option.

If you like to cook Asian food this is a staple ingredient with an incredible range of use and fantastic flavor. This, black vinegar, sambal, good soy sauces, all amazing products to use even when you’re not aiming for Asian but you want to jazz up a recipe you like but is missing some oomph to it. I’m especially partial to the shaoxing cooking wine, black vinegar, and sambal. And sure nothing beats fresh but have you tried keeping fresh ginger in the house? It tends to go bad before it can all be used or you find yourself constantly picking up thumb to finger size pieces in the produce section where quality can differ greatly, but dried ginger works extremely well to substitute.
