This is a great toy to get kids outside and away from the screen! I have found it is a good tool for my kids (6 & 9) to practice patience and persistence. It is well made but take care not to bend the arrows as they are hollow. The target is not as sturdy as I would like. It's made of shiny cardboard surrounded by a thin plastic frame. You should probably use a nail to hang it. Using a tac on our fence didn't hold it when the arrow strikes it hard. I would pay more for a better quality target. Overall a great toy for the price and will purchase again as a gift.

This bow and arrow set is awesome. My 6 year old son loves it. It’s quite powerful and the arrows stick well to glass and hard surfaces. I wouldn’t shoot single paned windows as I think this could break them. But a wooden door, double paned window, plexiglass, metal all work great. My son has been using this for a few days and says this is the best toy he’s ever owned. We even took him to an archery range to try out a real bow because he’s been so into it. When he did the try-out lesson the instructor was so impressed with how well he did that she was convinced it’s because of this toy! (He brought this toy with him to the range he loves it so much). Anyway, awesome toy and a perfect introduction to archery!

I got it as a gift for my 7-year-old nephew, and he absolutely loved it! The set is fun and engaging, with the LED lights adding an extra "cool" factor that kids really enjoy. While the quality isn't top-tier and it may not hold up for years of use, it's perfect for introducing kids to archery and discovering a new interest. Initially this seemed like it was pretty good quality. The bow is sturdy enough, however the arrows are not. Within 2 days 2 of them snapped. He (5 y.o. son) was not playing with them roughly, I was supervising, the plastic just seems brittle. I was able to superglue them back together. There doesn’t seem to be a way for him to wear the thing the arrows are kept in without the arrows falling out so that doesn’t get used. I wouldn’t personally want to buy this again. He loves it regardless though. It is pretty accurate for a toy and you can adjust the tension in the cord by tying a knot closer giving it a considerable amount of force for a toy.

I accidentally bought two bow and arrow sets for my son's birthday, this and another with a Target on a PVC stand.While I prefer the stand one for the target, the bow on this one is significantly "cooler" to my freshly minted 4-yo. Even without the batteries (we're in the process of moving and I had none on hand when this unexpectedly arrived!). It was neat enough that I didn't return it. We have neighbor kids that are 3 and 5yo, so it helps greatly with the refusal to share stage when you have more than one. Even my older kids like playing with this, 11, 10, and not quite 40yo husband. Pleasantly enough it doesn't hurt as bad as a Nerf gun when you're the target.The arrow holder is too flimsy on its own to be functional, but if you're crafty or creative I'm sure there's a way to reinforce where it sits on your child's back. As it is, it just dumps out the arrows.The target is fairly small, about the size of a dinner plate. Our other target is more than double the size.Tl:Dr - buy this for the cool bow & arrows, not for the rest of the items.
