PLA (Decepticon Purple) 1.75mm 1kg Filament [PRL40077449C]

Prints very well. I had no problem with tangles; the filament seemed to be wound uniformly, though I haven't gone more than a quarter-way into this particular color's roll, at this time. I have purchased several of Paramount3D's colors of this PLA and all have given me great prints. And the colors are most unusual. Of those I've tried, I'd put "Decepticon Purple" at the top of my favorite's list. Very wine-like; very deep; the purple you'd see in church. Or on a Decepticon, I guess. I just ordered two more rolls.

Bought this for the color. So far it has acted like most Paramount 3d filaments. Make sure you have your printer dialed in. It's not as forgiving as Esun, but the colors are top notch.

Ill admit, I only bought Paramount because the unique colors are so amazing, pictures do no justice... I was a little turned off by the bad reviews as far as printability goes but couldn't resist. I'm glad I did, if you are in the 3d printing hobby you should understand that not all filament is the same and sometimes you need to tweak setting to get a specific filament to print right. do not expect this or any new filament you are trying to print the same as your favorite go-to. I love this filament, its color is amazing - if you are unsure, buy a single spool and see for yourself.

Excellent color, prints well, definitely gonna be getting more of Paramount 3D's stuff - nobody else seems to have really ventured far outside the 8-crayon box in terms of range of colors offered, not as well as they have anyways!

The filament printed fine and I love the color, but the color is practically identical to their Black Cherry filament so I wish I hadn't purchased it. I did reach out to customer service with a simple question and they couldn't bother with a ten second response. If a company doesn't respect their customers I tend to never buy from them again, so I may not be patronizing Paramount filament in the future.

I absolutely love this filament, but struggled with it a bit at first. I'm running 5-10 degrees higher than recommended specs, and 60 degrees on the bed, considering bumping that up 5 more. My thermocouple may be out of calibration, so hard to fault Paramount at this point. Regardless, good filament is still good filament, and I always test the working range with little sample cards before jumping into something larger. I look forward to seeing what else Paramount has to offer!

This is a very nice dark rich maroony purple that prints well at 220°C with a thin layer of some bedweld adhesive on the build plate. Running upgraded brass nozzles on a Flash Forge Creator Pro.
