It keeps the flys away, works great!

I was honestly skeptical, but these fly fans really work! We used them outside during a barbecue, and not a single fly landed on the food. The soft blades stop if you touch them, so they’re safe around kids and pets. They’re super easy to set up and don’t take up much space on the table. I love that they’re battery-powered so I can move them anywhere — patio, picnic, kitchen counter, you name it. Total game-changer for eating outside!

I ordered this fly fans for my daughters birthday since we live in an equestrian area of town we get plenty of pest flying around. The covers on the food never stay, so this fans were the perfect solution. Not only fo they keep flies away but are esthetically pleasing to the eye. The party lasted from 3pm till about 8/9pm and they still have battery the next day so I would say pretty long lasting. I love the way you can easily store them since they fold down making them compact. You can also hang them upside down if prefer. I had several guest at the party ask about them, so now I will be ordering more as christmas gifts for neighbors and friends.

So good I bought a second set. They work fabulously. Easy to use, battery life is great and easy to recharge.

These fly fans do exactly what they promise. They keep the flies away so you can enjoy your meal in peace. Setup takes just a little extra muscle to snap the three sections into place. You might hesitate, thinking you’ll break it, but once you apply that bit of extra pressure, you’ll hear the satisfying click that means it’s locked in and ready to spin. The holographic blades work like a charm against flies. At our tailgate, they kept the pesky buzzers at bay, though the curious bumblebees still made their rounds. Fair enough — it’s a fly deterrent, not a bee bouncer. The only real downside is storage. Once extended, they don’t retract back to their original shipping size, so putting them back in the box isn’t an option. It makes storing them a little awkward, especially if you’re tight on space. If they were collapsible, I’d be handing out five stars without hesitation.

10/10 recommend!! I got 2 orders because we like to throw big parties and we always have so much food and we need to keep the flies away. We live in Hawaii so flies are EVERYWHERE!! It worked so well and we were at the park. I love how it slowly stops when people are grabbing food as their hand slowly touches the fan part and then goes back to spinning at regular speed once they move on.

Works good. The blades are soft and the fan runs quietly. DO NOT BUY if you’re expecting these to collapse when you’re done using them to store. Once fully extended, they will not go back together!

They actually work. Used them on my last BBQ. No flies.
