Don't replace the entire horn/driver/whatever. The magnate was just fine. This worked perfectly and is easy to install.

This is an excellent replacement for so many of JBL's horn diaphragms. I've got 7 monitors and 4 PA speakers that use these. This replacement is also like the original - it has a metal shell, not plastic, as well as exact fitment. It sounds just like the original and is economical versus the cost of the OEM replacement. Changing it is very easy - remove the screws, remove the diaphragm from the magnet, and *gently* insert the replacement, being sure to align the voice coil carefully in the groove on the magnet. Screw it back together and you're done! It works well, is economical, and gets you back up and running in very little time.
