New Kitchen Idea Book (Taunton's Idea Book Series)

Packed with pictures and numerous ideas. Especially love the pantry ideas! We are building a new home so many of the ideas will be incorporated into our new kitchen. Good Purchase! We also have Taunton's Idea Book for bathrooms which is also great!

Lots of photos and lots of ideas to use in your own kitchen. I especially liked the close-up details. Excellent!

I purchased three highly-rated kitchen design books off Amazon, and I have to say this is my favorite of the three. There are so many post-it notes sticking out of the book that it has almost doubled in size. Ok, maybe not that many, but the many ideas in this book spawned other ideas that are sure to help my fiancee and I design a kitchen that will last us the rest of our lives.

Older book but good ideas. Neat and tidy book

It seems I can't go wrong when I order Taunton Idea Books and the Kitchen Idea Book provides tons of great examples for kitchen storage which is my main issue with my kitchen.

Very informative book. Only downside is I have a lot of projects since my wife read it.

Some of these organization drawers seem to be high maintenance. The drawer full of flour should be interesting for how to clean the drawer and how often. The rattan drawers seem flimsy and open to collect dust. Great pictures. Food for thought.

This is a phenomenal book full of great ideas for a kitchen project from the very simple and low cost to a total overhaul. I've referenced this book several times and own several of the Idea Books. It's a great series for anyone considering decorating and/or remodeling.

This book is American and you can see that in the pictures although good design and storage ideas have no boundaries! It shows some great ideas for how to make things fit what you have as opposed to the other way round which is nice if you like a place for everything and everything in its place. A lot of the kitchens in the book are really big and that gives a lot more options in terms of blending styles and colours as big rooms need texture and variety but you can pinch ideas that work for your space. I really liked the magnetic knife strip they had in a drawer so all your knives just lined up for easy access and the large concrete sink which could house the dish drainer as opposed to having all the water slop everywhere. I have a smallish kitchen which desperately needs redoing and I love looking at books and pictures of kitchens to get ideas and this book has given me lots.

Some useful information but a little dated

For up to the minute pictures and ideas? The book seemed dated and very USA orientated. Not a purchase i would recommend.
