This light is awesome...Connecting to the app was simple and only took a few seconds...there are loads of different colour profiles and settings to choose from...I use mine mostly as background light while in the woods taking photos of plants and wildlife...It can also take a few knocks and drops...it has several built in notches to add other accessories to and a screw to attach it to a camera...battery lasts several hours on full brightness...

I bought these lights primarily to help up my product photography game, and also (but rarely) use them as key fill lights for shooting videos. Firstly, the packaging lets it down a little. Sure, that's not the main product, but in this day and age, a products packaging represents the product quality and first impressions aren't good - a pointless plastic cellophane wrap around the box and then a plastic tray inside. It's 2025, come on! That's where the let downs end though. The lights themselves are fantastic. I opted for the wireless ones, pairing with the app was seamless and it's relatively easy to use. They can do different tones of white, RGB colours and lighting FX. FX does become out of sync with one another, but I'm not going to use this mode anyway. They're small but mighty, really packing a punch at 100% brightness. I've been using them at 50% most of the time, and even used them at 1% brightness for the last photo. The included diffusers make the light soft, meaning no harsh lights or reflections. I've not used them long enough to comment on their battery life yet, as they're still at 100% despite 30-60 mins of use. The fact that they have a cold shoe, and tripod attachment and are magnetic means they're super versatile for mounting too, or you can just stand them upright on a surface! My product photography is definitely reaching next levels compared to before, and I'm looking forward to using these more in future!

Honestly very cool. Any review that says it isn't bright probably didn't have the brightness up. In daylight situations it obviously wont show up much, but even when I used it in open side car parks it still helped a bit. Havent tried it properly in the dark but I can imagine that it is extremely good, and the various colours and modes make it very useful for the price

Really useful little light, lightweight and compact so it's bery good for filling close up. App works really well, connects quickly and is easy to use. Magnet is pretty handy in some scenarios. The light does have limitations of brightness and battery life, but I think that's to be expected with a unit of this size. It can be used powered so a power bank is a workaround if you're using out and about.

Excellent multi coloured photography and video light. Easy to use and and control and is very bright. The cold shoe is very sturdy and easy to mount and gives out an impressive brightness for its small and portable size. Battery lasts for a good time as well, obviously this depends on the brightness you have it set to.

This review is for the RGB non app light. I'm a professional videographer and have a full compliment of lighting gear including on camera lights. However whenever travelling on public transport (eg by train) weight and size becomes a concern. So I have been looking for a lightweight fill light for use at conferences and events for interviews. Well this looked like it fitted the bill. 30 quid though. Made me suspicious. Too cheap. Well I took this up to London a few days ago to use as a on camera fill light at an event. Balanced to match the light in the room (3000k halogen style spots) and just lift the shadows off the face and around the eyes during interviews. And it did the job brilliantly. 10 interviews shot in different locations at an event in a busy room. No big light on a stand needed. Just gently use the Newer to lift the shadows off the face. A nice soft light that avoids that "Most Haunted" look. CRI is excellent. Not up there with the true pro lights but if you are shooting as I was you'll still have the best CRI in the room. Colour options are excellent. The flashing modes are an annoyance as you have to go through them when cycling through the menu. Your mileage may vary. You have to keep in mind this is a small light. It cannot be your sole light. The battery life also means it will not run all day. Turning it on just when I needed for each interview, when I returned home only 1 bar on the 3 bar display had depleted. I'd been running it at 3000k 80%. Would be interesting to see if it can run from a power bank for extended runtime. The RGB ability also opens up interesting possibility for coloured backlighting so I'm going to be ordering a second. The magnetic back is a nice touch although you must remember to keep it away from your mics in the camera bag! Thank goodness we have stopped using tape! Longevity of the kit? Well it's plastic and lightweight. I've had some of my halogens for 20 years. But if this lasts a couple of years in the field I'll be happy. Frankly at this price it makes more sense than hiring a light. Now if Newer could come up with a version of this in metal with a swappable battery, they'd make a killing in the pro market even if it was 100 quid. But again, I must stress, this is a fill light. There's someone down below complaining it isn't bright enough. It's plenty bright enough for its intended use case, an on camera fill. So good I'm ordering another!

Overall, this isn't too bad for the money. It's been good for some video work I've been doing and is a good backup light. I like the diffuser because it spreads the light evenly. As a secondary light source for photography, it's good for close up work when you need to fill in shadows. Overall, not too bad.

夜景バックにムービーを撮影する機会があり利用しました。夜景に露出を合わせたうえで、人物の顔を照らすための補助光としては十分な明るさです。スマホで複数台のライトの制御も可能なので、ワンオペ撮影でも便利でした。サイズもコンパクトで遠方でのロケの際にもかさばらずにカバンに忍ばせておくことが出来て、お値段以上の価値を感じます。屋内や夜景の撮影の予定がある方は一つか二つ持っておいても良いと思います。

I think Neewer create rally usefull and good products to a fair price. This lamp is no exception. Tried it for the first time photographing an event with iver 500 people and it performed great. There are a bunch of options to customise the color of the light and for my intended purpouse it gets more than bright enough
