I probably have purchased more appliances that the average man- and I have to say I love this thing! The griddle appears to be almost 1/4 inch thick and definitely undamagable. We purchased the non-stick griddle option, seasoned it well: oil at high heat until it began to smoke, turned off and repeated a few times, and it has performed flawlessly. It is "curved up" around the griddle's edge, providing a sturdy lip that keeps the hot grease on the cooking area. The hole to the grease trap is easily used as the grease can be dragged to the grease hole and off the hot griddle. I haven't used the pot/pan-method but the wiring that would hold pots or pans, after the griddle is easily lifted and removed, is substantial and won't give way to weight. The burners come up to heat guickly and allow you to control different heat zones with the two burner knobs. It definitely has some weight to it and is an excellent build! We utilize it on our open, but covered back porch and since the purchase a few months ago, there have been no signs of rust, etc. Buy with confidence...this thing is a beast!

Great value for the money! Easily comparable to a Blackstone. The griddle is heavy duty and does the job quite well! After a good seasoning session, it functions quite well! Heats up evenly and quickly. Tailgated for 30 people and was cranking out 6 burgers and 6 hot dogs at a time last weekend. Will eventually spend the extra money to get a Blackstone once this one dies, but I don’t see that happening for at least another few years of heavy use.

Love this griddle. I take it camping and it’s perfect. I like that it has a lid so I don’t have to worry about dirt or anything landing on the griddle surface between meals. I like the carrying case it comes with- and it’s pretty easy to get it inside the case, which I doubted when I first put the griddle together with the lid handle. This thing is pretty heavy, which makes sense but wasn’t necessarily something I would have expected from looking at it. The griddle itself does come out to make cleaning much easier! My only minor complaint is that the grease drawer isn’t super tight and I do have grease run down the underside of the unit sometimes, which can be messy. But I’m not even knocking a star off for that because I think that’s somewhat to be expected with any style griddle. I put foil under the whole unit and also inside the grease drawer to help contain any messes and this has helped.

I'm in love with my blackstone. It's bulky as hell, but it's super convenient and works great! Was easy to assemble, fits easily in it's carrying bag although I feel like there should have been a slot in the bag for the hood handle to pop out of but it still fits. Took it camping, easy fuel install, (does burn almost 1 green cannister with each use) cleaned it, turns on easy, no need for lighter. seasoned it twice and cracked a few eggs over some oIL, they slid all over with such easy. Love it! Upside: you can remove the griddle to expose a rack to place pots and boil or cook whatever. Downside: the racks design is large and wide so a small pot or kettle could fall as mine did and spilled all over. Design flaw indeed. But I placed a small grill rack over to create balance. Problem solved.

Took this camping and it was easily portable. Cooked evenly and fit nicely into an old blackstone stand. Great option for the price.

Item arrived packaged well was no damage. Customized my rv cooking area to accept this griddle with hood.Fired it up and everything works as should. Very pleased and seem be a good flat top griddle with hood. Really like the griddle plan on using a bunch this year camping. Highly recommend this griddle !!

The QuliMetal griddle is a well-built and substantial griddle. The assembly is comprised of screwing on the four legs and pressing on the two control knobs - very easy. The griddle itself is thick, heavy gage steel with an raised rim on all four sides. I chose the cold rolled steel instead of the ceramic coated version due to my familiarity with seasoned cast iron and carbon steel cookware. Once seasoned, the steel surface is great! Food releases similar to a carbon steel pan and clean up is easy. The burners provide plenty of power to achieve a good sear. It was no problem for the griddle to reach over 500 F. Buy it without fear. The quality is good!
