The premise is straightforward but effective: players balance their characters on the shifting sand platform, trying not to be the one who sinks as the sand gives way beneath them. The elevated structure ensures that the action remains engaging, with just enough unpredictability to make every game different. My four- and seven-year-old daughters absolutely love it. They’ve not only enjoyed the gameplay itself but also the little character figures, giving them their own names and creating extra mini-stories and side games around them. The funniest moments are often when the sand gives way and someone’s character ends up clinging to the edge for dear life - it never fails to get a laugh. As with most kinetic sand-based toys, a little of the sand inevitably finds its way outside the set, and it can be slightly slippery if spilled on smooth surfaces. That said, the game’s design does a good job of containing most of it, and cleanup is quick. It would be fun to see a multi-level or extended-play version in the future, perhaps adding new challenges or variables, but as it stands, this version is a real winner. It takes only minutes to play, stores easily, and provides genuine family entertainment that never drags.

This game is amazing. It is awesome and very cool. You get to play with kinetic sand, which feels really nice and squishy and makes the game extra fun. I like watching things sink into the sand because it’s exciting and a bit funny. The rules are easy to understand, so you can start playing quickly. It’s really good when you are bored and don’t know what to do. We played it as a family and everyone enjoyed it, not just kids but parents too. I like that it’s a game and a sensory toy at the same time. You can take turns, laugh together, and it doesn’t feel boring or too hard. I would definitely recommend this game for families who want something fun to play together.

Easy assembly fun to use. To maintain the viscosity of the quicksand store in an airtight container we use a takeaway container. Great game for all ages 3+. We can strongly recommend.

This is a great game and can be played as a family which is lovely. It’s fun, fast paced and children of all ages seemed to enjoy it. It was a little more expensive than I would like to have paid but my little boy loved it, particularly as it has kinetic sand in. It was packaged well and delivery was very quick which was fantastic.

Any easy to set up and easy to understand game for young children. My 4 and 7 year olds enjoyed playing this by themselves and didn't need any help. They played against the grown ups over Christmas and it was a lot of fun and caused lots of screaming and laughing. Highly recommend. We got one for a friend's 5th birthday gift since using our game, it is a fun present.

Wow!! what a game, you dont even need the excuse of kids for this game, however its still great with chidren of all ages 5+ too

We bought this as a Christmas gift for the kids, and they were excited to play with it right away. The kinetic sand was a big hit and made the game feel different from the usual board games we have. Le jeu est très sympa. Par contre la règle est en anglais et j'ai pas forcément tout compris sur certains détails du jeu comme le rubis. Sinon le principe du jeu est facile à comprendre et ludique
