If you are wondering about ordering something like this from Amazon, forget about it. Fits my Audi perfectly and a good snug fit. The strap fits after you pop the old one off. It's a good buy.

Perfect replacement for our lost gas cap.

Check engine light went off a few days after changing this part myself. I had hoped to save some money by getting this on Amazon after my factory part broke. Brought the car to the dealership after the light went off. Never put two and two together until diagnostic came back as a small evap leak detected. Sure enough my new cap was faulty and I ended up having to pay $300+ to dealership for diagnostic and replacing the cap again. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money on this.

Good quality, I see no difference between the the OEM and this replacement. I experienced an engine fault, fault code slight leak in engine evap system. New cap corrected this, the OEM lanyard had broken several years ago, probably should have replaced the cap then. The lanyard fit into the retainer hole easily.

Fit great no engine codes as of yet. Great quality.
