Yes, they will work but I will say they are not even remotely as loud as a firecracker. But they will work in any .22 caliber. Be warned they leave a lot of powder behind because they are blanks, so clean your firing device often.

Q: Are these loud or equal to a .22 Long rifle?

I’d say it’s close or similar, it was like I was back at the range. Using it indoors doesn’t make it any better, wear ear plugs or muffs
