It works and stops my snoring! I've used cheap mouthpieces before and have not had a good experience with them so I was a little hesitant to drop the cash on this. It turns out to have been a great choice. Pros: - I do not end up accidentally spitting this out in the middle of the night like I've done with cheap ones - I have had braces in the past so being able to fit them to my teeth was a big plus to me since my parents spent so much money for me to have good teeth alignment. - The fact that it is fitted to my teeth also contributed to not accidentally spitting it out while sleeping. - The fitting process is easy just make sure you don't bite down super hard squishing everything out. You really don't need to go that hard. - It does not leave a weird taste in the mouth. Make sure to clean it daily. - Adjustability is a huge plus! I do not recommend going past the 2nd mark if you've ever had braces because anything farther than that causes pain and might ruin your teeth alignment and modify your bite. - Customer service is awesome! The first one I received had a broken adjustment screw and they shipped it pretty much the next business day and I had the replacement in a couple days. Claiming warranty was really easy and straight forward on their website. Cons: - You most likely won't be able to close your mouth all the way so you might drool a lot. I have a slightly larger mouth so I can kind of close my lips but I end up with a partially open mouth sleeping anyway. Drool will happen. Tips: - If you accidentally bite too hard and form a sharp edge with the plastic, just shave off the protruding edge with a sharp blade like a fresh box knife, razor, xacto, etc. - Clean it every day. Rinse it in the morning. If it smells/tastes weird, then use a bit of toothpaste and your tooth brush on it. - Don't go too aggressive with the adjustment right away. Start neutral or at the 2nd adjustment mark at the most and see how you feel - Pairs well with the nose bridge strips if you need to open up your air passage more. I had to use both one night in a hotel where the AC was making the air super dry. Overall absolutely worth it! I really dreaded the idea of having to get a c-pap and now I know I don't have to get one!

I was hopeful when I ordered this product. I had hoped it would be the ideal travel device in lieu of more expensive ones. I followed the directions and fit it to my mouth. It felt tight but ok, not unlike mouth guards for martial arts like I had used before. My first night, I made it about two hours and took them out. While I don't think I was snoring, my jaw started to ache. The next night, I tried to keep them in longer. My lower jaw hurt even more and it felt like one of my teeth was more painful than the other. Then, on the third night, I woke up in a puddle of drool, jaw still hurting and I realized I had wasted $60. It didn't work for me and I don't think I'm going to try any further. Lesson learned. Also, I'll share two more things. The little arrow for orientation is damn near impossible to find in the dark and I wonder if the lack of a tongue brace like other brands is part of the problem. I wish I had better luck with it.

First of all, it does completely stop snoring, when it works. The VitalSleep was my old go-to since around 2017. Please note that Every other full circular impression mouthpiece is worse than this one. Others are either tremendously bulky, more painful, or don't take tooth impressions as well. Why I say when it works: 1. There's a lot of hard plastic on the inside that scrapes against your mouth and causes irritation over time. It ended up being something I couldn't rely on every night because of this, I've always had to take breaks. 2. To advance your jaw, it applies pressure from the outside pushing in on your upper front teeth, and from the inside pushing out on your inner front teeth that leaves them sore in the morning and the pain can take a couple hours to fade. 3. The mouthpiece contains a plastic screw mechanism that can melt when you are performing the molding process. If the threads melt, you are left with a mouthpiece with stripped threads that slides back and forth and is ready for the garbage bin. Fortunately for us and maybe unfortunately for them ZQuiet Advance is around now and it is far closer to the prescription only advancement devices (and perhaps even superior in some ways). I'd guess that within the next year or so VitalSleep will do another revision, but until then their competition is the only one that completely leaves your front teeth alone and only forms to the incisors and molars and that is hugely more comfortable to wear. I've gone back and forth between leaving a 3 or 2 star rating because of the difficulties, but decided I certainly can't leave lower than 3 for a product that did at least successfully take my SnoreLab recordings from Epic to completely quiet.

I have had a bad time sleeping over the last few years before purchasing this product. I purchased this product along with several other products to try and improve my sleep. I tried a few of the other products first. (All other products for this I wouldn't even rate a 3 our of 5, so far) I was initially disappointed with this product. After forming it to my mouth, it felt good initially, but only for that first hour or two. Then, when it dried out, it somehow became deformed and restricted a little and pulled inwards by a large, significant amount. I used some other products in between to try and find something that worked. After trying this again, the second time, because I was still disappointed in other products, I completed the forming process a second and then a third, and forth time, over the time-frame of a week or so. About the fourth time, the form was correct and stayed permanently where I needed it to be. (After a few months, I still needed to try it again for a fifth time in order to improve the fit again, and I haven't done that yet.) After being correctly formed (which should be in the directions to repeat the process, and let it dry out to see how it fits, and then retry it again, until the molding fits correctly) I was able to use it for sleeping without feeling like it re-arranged my teeth, horribly, overnight. After the fit was completed and comfortable, I don't sleep without it! I always brush and floss my teeth prior to using it and after waking in the morning. I also clean the mouth guard with my toothbrush and paste to clean it well. It works great! The only drawback that I have with it was the creating a good fit process, which took 4 or more times before it fit correctly, after drying out for 24 hours or longer, which should be a part of the process. Additionally, the locking mechanism on mine is broken with the lower jaw fully extended, and can't be brought back to a normal position. This actually works in my favor and it is my tongue and lower jaw sagging into my breathing passageway that causes my snoring and breathing problems. So, having it lock in the farthest out position, while a bit uncomfortable at first, was a real life saver later on, for my sleep. I would like the directions to include a 24 hour drying period prior to testing to see if it fits and repeating the process for several time as part of the "to be expected" process for fitting it to your mouth and an improvement on the locking mechanism to keep the lower jaw in place. But, either way, it works amazing for me. (I never wanting to even be tested for sleep apnea or get those horrendous CPAP machines. (The other product that I use every night is the nose airway opener insert which keeps my nose passageway open when I sleep on my face, which happens nightly) The only other note is that because it leaves my mouth open most of the night, I have to clean my pillow case weekly do to the excessive saliva while I sleep. This is not really a big issue for me since I was so used to sweating all night long and drenching my bedding due to a lack of oxygen all night. Cleaning the pillow case is no big deal. Now, I clean them once a week, which should be everyone's normal anyways. I hope that this helps you with an honest review! - J Wehr

This is the anti-snore mouthpiece you want! The moldable part is easy to mold to your teeth and it doesn’t flatten out or lose the mold as fast as some I have already tried. The size of the adjustable plastic piece is smaller than the clear ones for a similar price and that’s what I really like because it doesn’t hold my mouth open while I sleep. Why is that important? Because then you’ll drool onto your pillow if the total mouthpiece size is too big. I love the fact that it’s adjustable with notches on the side to help line everything up. Let me reiterate the importance of a smaller size…you won’t drool! That’s a plus. If you can’t naturally close your mouth with this or any other, look for a smaller one right away. My wife said that my snoring is gone and sounds more like heavy breathing. So, it works to keep my lower jaw forward and prevent the material back there from getting too close to the back of my throat, which causes me to snore. Storage during the day is the container it comes with...this is the only thing I do not like because it is sized almost too perfectly for the mouthpiece. If you fit it to your teeth and your mouth is wide, it will widen the entire mouthpiece. Out of the box - it fit in the container perfectly. After heating and fitting it (from my mouth), it got wider and had to be squeezed into the container. It was literally a MM too big and squeezing it into that container would not have been good in the long run because it eventually will not fit my mouth anymore. Luckily, I kept my old container from a previous mouthpiece that was bigger...because the entire mouthpiece was bigger! That's why I got this one.

I've been searching for my snoring and this looked promising. It was really easy to make the mold of the teeth for both upper and lower. There are adjustments to elongate the jaw to ease the snoring. It all looked good BUT . . . The mouthpiece did not adhere to the top teeth while I was sleeping. It held firmly to the lower jaw but would dislodge from the top. I would wake up biting on the outer rim of the mold realizing that the teeth did not settle back into the upper mold. Once I got it back in, I noticed that the jaw would be back to the more closed position for only awhile. When I fell back into a deep sleep, the top would dislodge again and I was fishing around to get this attached to the upper teeth. It should be noted that it does not prevent snoring but reduces it substantially. The issue for me came when I was awaken by my jaw trying to lodge back into the upper mold. SO: PROS: it does reduce snoring, not eliminate it. It is easy to mold on the teeth which was a promising feature. It is adjustable. I like the idea that this will hold on to the teeth keeping teeth movement to an absolute minimum. CONS: It didn't adhere to my upper teeth when I was jarred awake. I needed to move the jaw and tongue to reposition it and close my mouth to get it back into position. It took some time to get use to and my jaw did ache. The first 4 nights were the most uncomfortable to wake up to. It took a week to get use to and the discomfort subsides within a few hours. Because the upper mold would dislodge and it caused me to fish around to get it back in, this simply did not work for me. I wanted to give it a good try since the mold would hold the teeth, mouth and jaw together. But my sleeping habits would have it dislodged when I rotated to my back and that work me up. It didn't work for me and I needed to return it. Everyone is different so I hope it works for you.

Hear's the deal... You need to try it see if it works for you or not. You definitely have to give it a few days to get used to it. I've been using it for about 7 months now and I am completely use to it. It works really well for me. I've had problems snoring my whole life. My wife and I sleeping in different rooms often. Sleeping with this device changed that. At first you're mouth feels slightly sore. Nothing too bad but you definitely feel it shifting your teeth somewhat. Every now and then I subconsciously take it out during the night and when I do my wife wakes up and I hear about it in the morning. That only happens rarely. For the most part I keep it in all night with no issue, I find it comfortable, and my wife and I both sleep well. I tried a few of the other brands before getting to this one and they did not work as well for me. The ability to adjust this one with the screws is really a game changer. It makes it very customizable. Last, their customer service is truly amazing. When I first received it I found it uncomfortable. I saw they had a smaller size version available. I emailed customer service and they sent me the smaller one which is the one that's very comfortable for me. That one worn probably because I grind my teeth. I emailed the company and they sent me a new one. That one had a broken screw on one side and could not be adjusted. I emailed the company and they sent me a new one. Customer service is really amazing. Very impressed and I will continue to wear this every night probably for the rest of my life.

Ok so, I have purchased 2 of these and this product does work for a few weeks, but first PROS: 1.)It will drastically reduce or completely get rid of your snoring by pulling your lower jaw out slightly and opening your airway. 2.)It forms to your mouth giving a nice air tight seal….that’s about it for the Pros. CONS: 1.)your lower jaw will hurt for a few days until you get used to it. 2.)It may form to your mouth giving a nice tight seal, but there is not enough molding to cover the plastic around the mold after you have created your imprint, and the plastic will put pressure on your teeth. 3.)For the price point, the quality is absolutely horrible. After a few weeks it becomes loose and will either come apart or the plastic screws will strip and will just move from front to back. All in all, it will stop your snoring but for $60+ every few weeks is absolutely not worth it. I would give something else a try.
