Reviewed in the United Kingdom. Purchased in USA from UK.
These special sports socks are truly amazing. I’m not diabetic but I do suffer from swollen ankles due to being a full time wheelchair user. I wanted these socks for going swimming and to the gym - mainly for looks if I’m being honest. These provide a stretchy and loose fitting around the ankle which is vital for me so I don’t get purple rings that I would from an ordinary size. ***WARNING: Do not use in a dryer!!! *** It’s not stated on the description but be aware this item VERY is prone to shrinkage and can’t be stretched back to size. You simply end up with baby sized socks! From now on I’ll simply hang them up to dry after they’ve been through the washing machine. They are comfortable, practical and of a very high quality. So good in fact I’ve ordered more. They are thin cotton material with a towelling layer on the sole. I really couldn’t recommend these more highly and have no hesitation in awarding 5 stars both for quality and value. **************Information for UK Buyers: *************** These “trainer socks for diabetics” weren’t available anywhere in the UK so I used Amazon America. These socks are equivalent to a 4-8 UK size. I have Women’s size 6 feet and my feet are quite wide. I wore these socks with size 7 trainers. I tend to wear a size or 2 larger, very loose fitting shoes in a size 8 and apart from the trainers all my shoes are “diabetic or orthopaedic loose fitting”. Luckily Amazon allows you to purchase in pounds Sterling so you avoid the bank currency conversion surcharge. Very useful. The total including standard shipping was £12.86 (Purchased November 2018). This includes taxes so no import duty applies on receipt of parcel. However for ease, I’d highly recommend choosing the “international option” when choosing a different country from the drop down menu. It will default to the American site showing only items that can be shipped to the UK and shows all prices in USD so remember to change this in the options to GBP. You will get the final price and total landed cost in GBP whichever option just before the final point of sale if you opt to pay in GBP. Having Amazon Prime in the UK means you can only get the benefits of Prime delivery in your home country (so no next day or 1 hour delivery of course) but don’t let this put you off using Amazon from international countries. I’ve used Amazon America several times (as well as Amazon France) over the past few years with absolutely no issues. Have also had no issues with returns with either country. The general layout of Amazon America is very similar to the UK site so do remember to change the country back to the UK after you’ve completed your transaction. The most obvious way of confirming you are still on the US site is the word “Basket” on the top right of the screen has been replaced with “Cart” and obviously the prices all have a dollar sign. This item took approximately 10 days to arrive using Amazon standard shipping and arrived in a well sealed Jiffy bag. Unlike the UK, the international sites tend to have a packing slip which is useful. Delivered to door via Hermes courier.

So comfortable!
I wear 91/2 wides in women's shoes, but wear size 8WW in men's Skechers, and these fit well, without pulling my toes back like so many other socks. They're softly thick, so they keep the sides of my big and little toe from rubbing and causing shred or calusses. They look good wearing my tennis shoes and shorts. Glad to find these and price was decent, too. They wash and dry well without shrinking. The tops are gently loose, but stay up without gapping. These were white, but I've also bought a couple of packs of black to wear under my jeans and jeggings type slacks.

Very comfortable
I’m really fond of these socks! They provide exceptional softness and warmth, which is just what I need. With lupus causing my ankles to swell regularly, I’ve become frustrated with socks that constrict my legs. They are somewhat thicker, but if that’s your preference, you’ll appreciate these. The fit is perfect—not too snug and not too baggy. The quality is certainly high, and I would gladly purchase them again.

Need more size options
Comfortable and non-binding. Only trouble is they are too large. The heel goes pst heel area and up the ankle. Slips down often. I have a size 8 shoe size. It is supposed to fit size 6-10. Need to have a better size options. The socks are designed to, once again, non-binding- so they are prone to slippage.

Medipeds socks
The only sock I have been able to tolerate on my feet. Soft and seamless, low cut to avoid pressure on legs. Will purchase again.

Best socks
My husband is very picky about his socks. These are the only socks he will wear. He deals with swelling in his right ankle, so they need to fit good, but not be tight!

Soft, stretchy, non binding, confortable, I love these socks!
I was so happy to see these available here because I used to buy similar Meid Peds at Walmart but they have been gone from there for years. I have bought the plain white ones here and they are not the high-quality socks I expected, do not wash well, and generally are not as comfortable to wear. enough so that I thought they might actually be knockoffs but this was a good while back. I have thrown all of them out when I got these because I was planning to buy more of them but now they are out of stock. I sincerely hope you get them back soon as I would like to buy 2 more packs. That is why I am here today, in fact. I will keep checking back, I am on Amazon a lot. I have tried other brands and while some are very nice, I like my Medi Peds fit and comfort more than the others. Also, even though the other brands I have tried claim to be diabetic socks they are not as stretchy as my Peds and leave a ring on my legs. the Peds do not.

Not great after washing
These felt good at first wear but after washing each and every pair either raveled or developed holes. It's a shame because I really wanted to like and use these. Would not recommend.
