Agzssl for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Front Glass Repair Kit Screen Replacement 6.7 inch Outer Screen incl Waterpoof Frame Adhesive,Repair Glue and Lamp Tool (No Digitizer,No LCD)

I ordered this and the item included all i need to do a self install. After watching youtube and realizing the risk involved damaging the lcd I took the item to a cell repair shop and 45 dollars later they fixed it . I saved money purchasing the part beforehand. 150 dollars saved. I am pretty good repairing things this was just too risky for me to do. It is harder than it looks and LCD screens for the Note20 Ultra are expensive.

The product seemed to be simple and straightforward when looking at the instructions but because the video is the same as the booklet there was no additional info or tips on doing this proces. When I started it was already a struggle, I did not have a hair drier or or heat gun, and if I used the suction cup it would cause my screen to crack further, once I was able to get a heat gun I proceeded to follow the instructions and when I used the razer to try and prop the screen it just caused more breaks in the screen and I struggle further to get one of the corners propped up. Once I did manage to prop up a corner and inserted the wire it striped an extra layer of the screen other then the glass and now my screen is no longer visible and I might have to replace my phone all together. Summary: The steps that were ment to guide me to fix my screen caused it to break further do to lack of detail instruction.

It is plastic but will work

It was actually really easy replacing the glass on my note 9 with this kit but you should know you need a hair dryer or something for the adhesive that holds the glass in place.

The screen is incorrect, i ordered the Samsung Galaxy note 20 screen and received a screen that isn't the original screen from Samsung.

To be fair the product came with ⚠️. I will echo the ⚠️🚨. If you are not extremely competent with this repair DO NOT ATTEMPT!!! I not have a Samsung paperweight. There is a microthin film under the glass that will be destroyed if you do not perform the repair perfectly. This was a very expensive lesson learned.

For all the tools that come with it. They should be better described as there intended uses. To get the screen off is very difficult without the proper heating element. A dryer isn't the proper tool. Need more heat and you need a vice of some sort to properly hold the item as you force the wire between the screen. I'm very tech savvy and this one was difficult. The LCD screen itself, has a FOIL backing. That's it. If you tear or puncture the backing your spending another 200 bucks. Be very careful. Everything up to that point I would say anyone could handle. Up to that point.

It's not glass it's plastic, but ill use it and see how it goes. Don't be misled it's a piece of plastic and it's certainly not an original glass replacement
