A fine product, seems strong; sadly, about 5mm too small for what I needed. Heads up if you are trying to repair a FantasyLab chair: this will not fit.

I bought this piece to replace the one on my Corbeau racing seat office chair. The original exploded after years of use (a pair of low grade bolts broke, destroying a bunch of plastic bits) and it's probably not the best quality mechanism, but the bolt pattern is unique, and if you need this piece, you need this piece. These mechanisms are made in China but are not available on Ali Express. Sellers on Alibaba sell them for a very good price, but shipping is well over $200. Or the price and shipping are reasonable, but you have to buy 100 pieces. After doing a google image search I found this product and the price, after shipping, was better than getting it directly from China. Removing the old mechanism took a few hammer blows, and the new mechanism just popped on. I expect that it will last a few years until the through bolts break, maybe I'll replace them with $1 worth of grade 8 bolts that I picked up at Home Depot and avoid the future destruction.

Title says it all. This replaced the original part and fits it like a glove.

I purchased this item since it was a direct match for several chairs i had that all needed this type of bottom. When I tried to attach it to one of my chairs, I immediately could see the item was extremely bent and would be impossible to attach to my chairs, despite being the correct type and supposed distance. I contacted the manufacturer who was unable to give me a replacement since they I had purchased their last one, however they did get me a full refund. I paid a friend of a friend who owns many tools and fixes cars regularly to take a crack at rebending the tool into the correct shape. He WAS able to fix get it to the correct length that was advertised, but not without cracking parts of it. So, even though its damaged cosmetically, in the end, I was able to mount it to the chair.
