Have used them several times to test circuits and connections. They appear well made and I am very satisfied with my purchase

These work well and are a reasonable price. They are not for high current or high voltage, but perfect for temp hookups. The alligator clips have a sturdy spring and they firmly grasp the terminal or wire you are hooking up. The wire is soldered to the alligator clip and crimped under the strain relief.

They work... they are a tad cheaply made, but for the price, I'll live with it. They will work as long as they are used carefully!

Or in this instance where is the copper? As other's have noted: - They may have high resistance. I measured .8ohm for 21" of wire (I cut and stripped both ends). - Connection to the clip is crimped only. - Supposed to be 22awg but is much smaller. In the pictures a 22 awg red wire is on the left, yellow on the right is one of the leads from the kit. - The PVC boots on the clips are very slippery. Good thing they were cheap. lol 7/25/2025 Update/Revision: The slippery clips seem to be from oil on the clips. Maybe during the manufacturing process. Wiping the clips and boots with alcohol helps a lot. The clips are strong and are soldered easily.
