I have oily Asian skin that's also a bit sensitive, and this Madagascar Centella Suncream has worked so well for me. It goes on super lightweight, doesn’t feel greasy or heavy, and gives a natural finish — not shiny or sticky like a lot of other sunscreens. I also appreciate that it doesn't clog my pores or cause breakouts, which is a big issue with many sunscreens on the market. The centella in it is soothing and has definitely helped calm some redness I usually get around my nose and cheeks. It wears well under makeup too, which is a bonus. This is my second bottle, and I’ll probably keep coming back to it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable everyday sunscreen that works with oily or combination skin!

I like it, but I don't love it. Positives: They absolutely deserve credit for using only zinc oxide, unlike a great many of Asian skin care companies relying on butyloctyl salicylate to boost SPF. The consistency is relatively light and "watery," if that makes sense (but perhaps a bit thicker than many would anticipate, likely due to the high ZO content). I can no longer find the source of the information, but I believe it contains 21% non-nano zinc, which provides ridiculously good UVA (and UVB) protection but is extremely difficult to pull off well...for reasons described below. Negatives: I have very fair but slightly rosy/peachy skin, and the product is a bit whitening on me. It's not bad, but it's noticeable upon application and for at least an hour afterwards. In short, I would love to find a way to thin out the preparation, even if it means diluting the effectiveness, or mix it with a drop of something to add a bit of pigment....at least until the company decides to release a tinted/tone-up version of this. Finally, I don't wear sunscreen that often -- so I don't have that many experiences to compare this to -- but there is the slight sensation that you are wearing something on your face as well as a warming feeling when you are out in the sun that feels a bit more "occlusive" than if you were just wearing a moisturizer or something.

I’m never buying a different one again! I’ve been trying so many sunscreens for so long, and I finally found one that’s perfect for my skin and doesn’t cause any pimples. It’s super easy to apply, feels non-oily but still moisturizing. It looks a little white at first, but after about 20 minutes it feels like you have nothing on your skin!

The best face sunscreen I’ve ever used. Doesn’t break out my sensitive skin and lasts for so long, even while sweating on a hike. Also does great under makeup. Doesn’t smell like sunscreen. *Has a slight white cast until it’s fully absorbed/rubbed in so idk how this would work on people of color.
