First, I am not a chemist or a medical oncologist, so take my assessment with caution. But I am an engineer, means I am not entirely stupid, or I would have not made it through engineering school. I have read the study. IMO, this is a joke. They took 12 mice and infected them with cancer and compared them to a control group of 11 mice. They injected the 12 mice with nicotinamide riboside and found that the cancer growth was 35% higher in them, compared to the control group. First, humans are not mice. Second, a study with that small of a sample size is statistically redundant. Third, there is a difference between accelerating existing cancer growth and CAUSING cancer (carcinogenes). There are many substances that do accelerate cancer. Sugar is one of them, but unfortunately body cells need it. Whatever healthy cells need to function, cancer cells probably love too. So don’t believe everything you read online. Think for yourself.
