Although the grip is strong, it is very easy to open the clip; no strong effort needed. The stainless steel material is great quality and will not be scratched. In combination with the gold finish, it adds the most pretty and elegant touch. They have not rusted and the finish has stayed shiny. I use these for all my cereal bags and for my cats’ dry food bag. I have no issue with roaches nor ants getting in. I’m glad the pack came with several because I have A LOT of opened cereal bags.

Nice bright gold, they look expensive and clamp well. I kinda wish they were magnetic, but for the price and value, def a good buy!

I don’t know why I waited to get nice chip clips. They look much prettier than a Ramon collection of colors and styles. They are easy to open but they are definitely strong enough to create a seal for chips or whatever you’re closing up.
