A different mounting system made it difficult to install.

Love it super bright

Opened the box, no wires to connect to the junction box; opened second light, again, no wires. Hmmm? Turns out you need to take off a little plastic cover with two small Phillips screws. You provide the wire and connect using your own very small slotted screwdriver. Then you thread the newly added wire through the plastic grommet. Now it looks like a normal light fixture. (note: nothing in the directions about this).This light is a simple, ceiling hugging, evenly diffused light. It is not dimmable. Thought it probably didn't dim since the feature wasn't listed, but checked anyway. After flipping the switch there is a short delay before the light comes on. It's bright, I don't have a way to measure, but the stated spec of 2000 lumens seems fair. I will probably buy a few more for the laundry room.PLUSES: inexpensive, evenly diffused light, thin, flush mount, disappears into white ceiling (which is what I wanted), described as 3000K and that seems accurateMINUSES: odd wiring (see above), not dimmable, half second delay between flipping the switch and getting light.

Nice, clean look. But can’t fjgure out the instructions on how to install it. They make no sense... Would give it 5 if it had good instructions.

So far, so good! I installed this light in my bedroom, which is actually one room of a converted attic in a house built in the year 1900. Needless to say, wiring anything at all up the "proper" way would be a challenge, so I had to get creative to add additional light in the dark bedroom. I love toying around with LEDs, so this thing piqued my interest, and I figured I'd give it a shot. It ended up working out even better than I expected! The installation was actually fairly simple, too. It's nice that they let you hook up your own wires for supplying power, because I was able to avoid messing with running anything through the "ceiling" (again, it's the attic of the house...), and instead was able to run a new set of power wires from an existing point on the edge of the room. I then concealed the wiring with an inexpensive adhesive-backed cable runway set, trimmed as needed. Once I had everything wired up and the switch installed, I fired the light up, and was blown away by the difference it makes in the room. Really. It's not as warm of a "warm white" like I had hoped, but I'm honestly fine with the color temperature, since it provides a huge amount of light. I'm tempted at this point to buy another one of these units and daisy-chain it on for even more light...
