I also enjoy the spiral binding that eliminates annoying folding of other pages. I do put a sheet or two between the pages I'm coloring and the next page to prevent bleeding, but the pages are fairly thick and one-sided, which is nice when using markers. Review: Great first step into causual coloring to build color-picking skills - I recently did a really complicated color by number poster with colored pencils and realized I enjoyed using those more than markers. I brought a number of cool-looking coloring books and came up short. I had no idea what colors to use. (Probably shouldn't have bought a set of 150 pencils to start with.) Since I enjoyed the poster I'd done, I bought some other color by number books next, including this one. Two others have really cool designs but you have to work with 15-20 different colors, which is a lot to handle at once. This book has 4-6 color recommendations at the bottom of each page. At first I thought that was too limited but once I tried a couple I decided it was a good way to ramp up my skills. It does fill in a few bits of the recommended colors on some drawings (but not all). I could live without that. Once I got more comfortable, I started choosing different colors completely or livening up the variety with different shades of the recommended colors. I've really enjoyed how a number of these turned out. I'd say I enjoyed coloring about half the pages in this book. I'm not really into animals or industrial designs. And some just had such wide areas for one color (like a watering can) that I preferred not to use half of one of my pencils coloring it in. I just ordered the two other books in the series. The Green one is great but I'm less impressed by the Yellow one. I'll review those separately.

Great first step into causual coloring to build color-picking skills

Fun for everyone
I bought this as a Christmas gift to go with a huge marker set I bought my daughter. Me, my husband, and grandparents have all colored with her using this book and it’s really fun and soothing. If I had time I would definitely do this on my own to relax. I’ve already got several more of these in my cart for later.

I like it!
I like how it isn’t your traditional coloring book. It has different types of pictures and a different color palette for each. Some pages come with certain areas already colored and I’m assuming that is because the areas are too small to place a number.

Pictures are kind of large not a lot of detail
I like this book I like color by number but the pictures are almost too large. There’s not a lot of detail I like real and different stuff where I can you know almost used dots of color to put everything together on the page where is my neighbor has very poor vision and this would be exceptional for her so I’ll probably gift it to her the next time I head next-door, which will be later this evening or tomorrow but anyway, it is a nice book because it’s spiral bound so you’re not trying to hold the book open or anything and you can actually sit flat on whatever surface you’re on, so I think she’ll really like it

Disappointing
I thought I would love this book, but I was sadly disappointed upon receiving it. There are only 27 designs, and the nice designs in the product photos are mixed with boring and ugly designs like a page full of cockroaches. I really liked the color guide on each page, but I HATE how half of the pages are already partially colored in. I would understand for one example page, but not half of the images! I wouldn't be mad if the book cost $5 instead of $9. I will most likely be returning.

Coloring is life
Love to color and I have a very difficult time holding my attention to color detail. I’m never sure on what color to use next, shading etc so that is what I love about the color by number books. It relaxes me and doesn’t give me the added stress of what should I use next. The pages are thicker so I like to still use a good plain white cardstock sheet between pages to soak any excess ink that may bleed through. I normally only color with sharpies, gel pens or colored pencils. I prefer to use gel pens on these specific coloring books.

This book is fantastic if you're looking for larger/thicker lines, and/or something simple that you can quickly lay some color down on. Another great feature of this book is that each page is perforated for easy tear-out, or for sharing with a friend❤️ I also really love that is coiled, it's so nice to have the pages lay perfectly flat without having them curl over or having that big hump on one of side of your book. This is the greatest set up for a coloring book in my opinion. I only wish the books in this series were just a bit more reasonably priced. Alcohol based markers work wonderfully with this book, that is what I've used on the 5 completed images I'm added. As always be careful! Watch for bleeding with your colors, and always have protection underneath for any leakage. I've only just received this book around a week ago, so haven't had much time to color in it. But as I already mentioned, I did add the ones that I've completed. As well as a close up of the lines on another photo. Then I randomly decided to be a nice person and snap some quick photos of what's inside. That's one thing that frustrates me when buying these books online. They rarely show us more than 3-4 images of what's inside🙄 So there you have it folks, 21 of the 31 images for you to look at. As they say, "not all superheroes wear capes." 🙃

Os números saonpequeninos pra nao ficar uma coisa feia, tipo imagem pintada com números chamando atencao. Números oequenos, mas nada que (pra quem nao enxergue de perto como eu) que um óculos não ajude!

When I bought it I thought it was a bit expensive for what it offers. 9€ for 27 small drawings with cheap paper seemed like a lot when I can get for instance a Hanna Karlzon book for 12€ with about 96 drawings on good paper. I thought I would give it a try because I liked the spiral bound and I wanted something to draw mindlessly sometimes. Overall I am happy I did though. The spiral is very convenient to keep the book flat and not take much space (wonder why we don't have more spiral bound colouring books). I also like that the drawings need only 5 or 6 colours per page and the colouring experience is really relaxing. Some of the pages can be coloured very quickly and some take a little bit longer but no page so far needed more than a couple of hours. I don't like that some of the colour hues are very weird and unique. I have a total of 352 colouring pencils (3 different sets) and for some colours I can't find a match. I find a similar colour to use so it's not a big deal but I think it is a bit annoying. I was also not impressed by the fact that some areas in almost all designs are already coloured. Why would my colouring book come pre-coloured? I thought it was a weird and unique choice as I have never seen any other colouring book come with pre-coloured parts.
