Great protection at reasonable prices
I figure that spending the amount of money that some of these lenses cost, the price of these lens pouches is a small additional charge to know that they are well padded and protected. The JJC lens pouches are very well-made with thick firm foam in the top, bottom and side. The floor of the pouch has a firm insert to prevent the bottom from sagging if a heavy lens is inserted. The lid has a small net-type pocket where you could store the lens cover and a lint free cloth. I like the fact that the lid is attached with a heavy zipper instead of drawstrings. The zipper tabs feature two mating loops to allow a small lock to be attached, mainly to keep honest people honest. It really provides no form of real security. The backside of the pouch features a belt loop with Velcro closure so you could easily hang the pouch from a regular belt or a camera bag harness. The pouch also comes with a clip on shoulder strap, which I don’t normally use. The top of the lid features a grab handle seen into the pouch. All in all, the JJC lens pouch provides excellent protection for any lens you put in it. Personally, I feel it is money well spent if you have the need for a lens pouches. Update 5/15/25: Since I’ve previously reviewed these pouches, I ordered some more and I can verify the XXL size fits the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II USM w/ hood reversed nicely.

Very nice lens Pouch
I really like my new JJC lens pouch. My 70-300mm lens with hood fits perfectly. Also i like the optional shoulder strap or the belt hook which i like the best. Has a convenient storage pocket in the lid for the lens cap which is definitely a plus. The outside material is waterproof and seams very durable. I'm always confident that my expensive lens is well protected when not in use.

Quality soft case offering great protection for a lens
This soft case is constructed quite well. A Velcro release belt loop, included sling, and zipper closure with a heavily padded interior. The interior padding is quite thick and my only complaint about it is that I can’t remove my lens from the case if the lens shade is attached to my lens. Overall, I would have great confidence in my lens being protected if it was in the soft case.

Fits the NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S
Note: This review pertains SPECIFICALLY and ONLY to the NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S lens and the XXXXL Size (that's 4 'X's) JJC Deluxe Lens Case. It does not pertain to any other close relative lens in the Nikon or other manufacturer's line, nor does it apply to other sizes of the JJC Deluxe Lens Case line. For some reason, Nikon chooses to ship their $2,700.00 Z 70-200 lens with a flimsy lint-free-cloth pouch, and not any kind of reasonable container or bag that will protect the lens when not attached to the camera. Probably a cost-cutting measure. Unfortunately, Nikon ALSO DOES NOT provide a separate container or bag option at additional cost either. This means the camera enthusiast is left to their own devices to browse through multiple websites and multiple products to HOPEFULLY find something that fits this lens. I took my own measurements of the lens (height and width, with the hood attached inverted/facing in towards the camera mount end of the lens) as a precaution when ordering a bag for this lens, and I re-measured with two different measuring tapes and a ruler just to be as certain as I could be. This lens is definitely a monster at < 4.25" across the large end of the lens, and < 9.5" tall when standing vertically on the large end of the lens with the lens cap attached. I am sure there are much larger lenses out there, but this is certainly a big boy. While looking over several different offerings from different third-party brands, the XXXXL Size (again, that's 4XL) of the JJC Deluxe Lens Case seemed to be the size that would accommodate this lens. Now that I have it in hand, I can report that while my lens does in fact fit in the 4XL, the case is too big (mostly too tall, specifically). That said, according to the measurements provided for the 3XL version of the same case, that smaller case would definitely have been too small. Unfortunately, JJC does not have a size in between the 3XL and the 4XL. While the size of the 4XL case is larger than the lens, the fit is still not bad. The lens fits comfortably inside the case even with the tripod collar, lens hood, and lens cap all attached. Inside the case, the lens can rotate freely, so you may want to wrap the lens in a microfiber towel to limit circular spin inside the case. Also, the lens is about two and a half inches short of the top of the case (see photos), so you may also want another towel folded in quarters (or two) to sit on top and prevent too much vertical sliding. Other than those relatively minor issues, the case itself appears to be fairly well constructed and solid. No bad stitching joints or anchors, no wonky zipper ends or misaligned teeth. Generally good, solid construction. While I would prefer a better-fitting case MADE SPECIFICALLY for this lens, making do with this case is not the worst option. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 solely because while this case works and is very affordable considering, it is NOT a perfect fit for my lens. Will keep my eyes open for a better-fitting solution for this lens.

Works Perfectly w/Nikon Z 180-600 Lens/Hood
I bought the XXXXXL for my Nikon 180-600 Telephoto Lens. This is a great case. The padding is very adequate and I feel like my lens will be protect. Nikon has not been sending cases with their lens like they use to. Most of the Z Mount Lenses are coming with just a cloth wrap type of protection. This fits the bill. I was getting to take some serious photography excursions and was looking for protection. The Lens goes in the case effortless. With the Lens Hood Reversed the Lens fits no problem. With the Lens Hood in the shooting position (normal) it will fit but is a very tight squeeze to get it zippered up. I was not expecting to carry the lens in this case with the hood in normal position. No reason to really.

Great lens case but measure your lens first
I really like this lens case. The quality is excellent and the padding is good. But I think the large size is a bit too small for the Nikon AF-P 70-300mm zoom lens with the lens caps attached on both ends. The zipper does close, but it's a tight fit, both length and width. It fits like a glove, if that's what you are looking for. I prefer a slightly larger case so that the lens slips in easily. I ordered another size of the same case.

Fits my 70-200mm zoom perfectly
I selected the DLP-6 II case because it fit my Nikon 70-200mm f4.0 lens perfectly with the lens hood on. The case is well made with heavy duty water resistant material like you find on a good back pack. The seams are swell stitched with no exposed threads on the exterior. The interior is padded and that is covered by a gray nylon like fabric that allows the lens to easily slip into place. it has straps at top and bottom to adjust the snugness of fits Has a double ended zipper to allow the top to open. The zipper pulls overlap and can be locked together, Inside the bag, there is a mesh pocket at the top where you could put a lens cleaning cloth. I do not recommend putting any filters there unless they are in their own hard case because the lens can jostle up and down inside the case and break the filter. It has a padded shoulder strap or a double velcro belt strap, or 2 D -rings for carrying. The shoulder strap attaches to the two plastic D-rings that are well attached to the bag. The buckles, D-rings and swivel shoulder strap snaffles are all heavy duty plastic. Not as durable as metal but should last a long time. There is a convenient loop at the top that makes it easy to grab in case you are not using the shoulder strap. I have found these loops to be super handy when grabbing a camera bag or lens pouch from the bottom of my closet or cabinet. You get a secure grip without worrying about dropping a valuable piece of camera gear. I do a lot of camping and wanted something to protect my gear from dust, rain and hard knocks while traveling and hiking and this will work well for that. I can highly recommend it
