Solid station, great value
This a fantastic little station. It get hot and it gets hotter and more than enough heat to power through even the dirtiest motherboards. This thing had the helping hands and the roller with tip cleaner all set up pretty well for easy use. Comes with solder and extra tips. No flux oddly but with the heat this thing puts out and a clean tip you don’t often need it . Only complaint I have is the brightness of the light, it’s laughable but the rest of the station is serious business.

It's surprising good, above my expectation
I typically use the main brand soldering gears for many years, mainly for debugging, bring up verification. I never heard of Yihua before, no idea of its quality or performance. I did some research on Yihua before I give it a try, seems they know what they are doing. The initial test was using this tool to work on 0402 parts and some MOSFETs, I really like these four buttons to select desired temp quickly, that's so handy, easily to work on tiny resistors then larger parts. The soldering tips are quite good, easy to clean and working with 0.3mm soldering wire. This time, I don't need the 110W power but I know it is ready there whenever I need it. I am impressed of its performance vs price range, give it a shut and it is good.

Quite good for the price.
I bought this to replace my cheap Weller soldering station that I bought in April 2024. Weller doesn’t make replacement tips for that station so I decided to replace that with this Yihua soldering station that is a large upgrade, since I had good luck with the Yihua rework station I bought previously. It heats up very quickly and gets plenty hot. The leadfree solder that comes with the station is pretty decent. I really like the brass cleaning coils. I find they work way better than the sponge. The tips are the only thing I don’t really like. They don’t heat very evenly so I end up turning the station all the way up when using leadfree solder. Fortunately, the tips used in this station are very common so I will probably end up buying some better ones. The iron's cable could use to be just a little longer, but that's no big deal. This station is absolutely worth the $50. I highly recommend it.

Great for the money, good overall
Highly recommended for the person who only uses this a few times a year or is new to soldering and doesn’t mind seeing this as a starter unit. I’m a bit bias towards my old school weller station. There’s no need for a display on these things but the addition of one doesn’t take away from it. Temp seems to regulate well. I have 10+ hours on this unit now and overall enjoy it. It’s a great basement lab tool. Heats up very quickly. The tips are the only disappointment. The smallest tip isn’t that small but it’s too pointy(doesn’t transfer heat well), and most of the others are too blunt for PCB work. Of the three tips I’ve used, none of them have consistent heat output. You'll always have some kind of hot spot even on the high dollar units and tips are standard so you can buy the nicer pieces when or if you need them. Generally my only complaint is the consumables, the unit itself is very solid.

Auto Power Off and Review
In case anyone else has trouble getting the Auto Power Off function to work, here is what I learned. First, read the instructions...just as is stated, the Sleep Function must be set also. I couldn't figure out why mine was not auto powering off until contacting the seller. They offered a quick and thorough reply which explained what I wrote above. The current models as of this writing (6/2/22) will blink 3 dashes in the display indicating the Auto Power Off. Other than that minor self inflicted snafu, this a very impressive soldering station, and at a good price. I was looking for a replacement for my Xytronic 137ESD Digital station, which I have had for a very long time. It served me well through thick and thin and I hated that it finally gave up the ghost. Unfortunately, they are no longer available, so I started searching for a comparable replacement. Low and behold I kept seeing this Yihua station, read several reviews and decided to take a chance. So far, glad I did. Longevity is yet to be determined, but I am amazed at the quality and features. This heats up to the desired temperature so fast, it's not even funny. And it remains steady. I like the 3 temperature presets. The display is crystal clear and easy to read. The iron fits my hand well and is nicely balanced. I'll sum up by saying the first unit I got had temperature stability issues and also threw an S-E error code, which is not good, but the exchange process was so painless and quick I really can't fault the seller. If you're on the fence deciding if this is the one. I would highly recommend giving it a try. Return is easy if you don't like it for any reason.

Seems to be a good unit but has done very little work to date. Should be made clear in advertising for sale in the Australian market that it is 110v only.
