Works well, easy to use, fits well with 2.5" hose.
Work like a charm to connect my Dewalt tools to standard 2.5" Shop Vac hose. Good quality, durable, easy to use. Good value versus buying 15 different connections trying to find one that fits. Screws in nicely to dewalt connector.

Works good
Works great with a DWV9000 adapter to connect to a 2-1/4 inch end of a shop vac hose. But you do have to get both adapters and connect them to each other.

DWV9190 + DWV9000 = setup Dewalt rotary sanders with 1 1/4" dust port to 2" shop vac hose
I have a DCW201B and could not find any specifications for the dust port size. I measured it at 1.25". It has a screw-and-click type system for the standard dust bag. The dust collector I wanted to use provides a 2" hose, so I had a problem to solve. I could not find precise specifications of the port, or available attachments, so I did much googling. The DWV9000 is easy to find as a fit for that dust port but does not provide 2" on the other side. Then I found the DWV9190, again with not very precise specs. It definitely has the 2" end, but the other side seems too small to fit the business end of the DWV9000. Then I found a single reference to the fact that this small end screws into the opening of the DWV9000. So, I went ahead and ordered. At first, it didn't seem right, but I found out that you have the screw it into the DWV9000 in the opposite direction of normal screw threads! But then I had a perfect solution. This is even more so because you can easily disconnect the DWV9000 from the sander, which would not be the case with various DIY solutions with flex pipe and tension rings. Furthermore, those DIY solutions cost the same as the approximately $20 spent on these two parts! Reduced stars a little because $10 for a simple piece of plastic seems a little more than necessary. Honestly, these two pieces should be sold with the sander, or at least this solution should be better documented on the Dewalt web site.

Fits great on Craftsman wet dry vac
Fits perfectly on the original hose for my Craftsman 12 gallon 6hp wet dry vac, CMXEVBE175940. I also tried it with my smaller Rigid hose, VT2534, but is not compatible with the hose or any adapters that came with the hose. So I'll be using the original fat Craftsman vacuum hose. With my Dewalt sander and other Dewalt equipment. I wonder why the threads are reversed.

Read This to Understand the Setup
There seems to be confusion on how to use these attachments to get a vacuum attached to a DeWalt tool such as oscillating sander or miter saw. The key is you need 2 pieces to make it work: DWV9190 and DWV9000. I am attaching this to the large hose on the large DeWalt Vacuum. DWV9190 threads into DWB9000. DWV9190 goes on the hose from the vacuum, and DWV9000 attaches and locks onto your tool.

Does not snuggly fit the DWV9000
Does not fit the DWV9000 well enough to hold mild pressure. It looks like it should but once connected it practically falls off once there's any amount of movement. I don't recommend.

Could be better.
I bought this to attach shop vac to my sanding machine, well... It kinda works, but connection is super flimsy.
