Good heaters
Lovely heaters smart looking work well

My new Heater for my hall.
The heater itself is very good, the bracket at the rear is thin metal and is easy bent and twisted out of shape. When the heater is on the wall it does wobble quite easily.. but the heat itself is fine....

Incredibly slim so perfect for tight spaces, heats up really quickly and whole panel gets hot!
So far so good with this Mylek 2000w heater! Bought it to replace an unfathomable Purus one, the element in which had just died on 3 October at 22 months! This one is even slimmer, which is great because the space is really tight, as you can see from photo 2. It arrive 2 days earlier than anticipated on 6 October, which was fab. I tested it on arrival and it heats up very quickly and the whole panel gets hot, whereas the one it's replacing only ever got hot at the top (which is the same with a 400w Purus version I have). Now the Purus, to be fair, heated the room well but you pretty much had to have it set to 40+ degrees to do so. This Mylek one only goes to 35 degrees but I think from just the test that it will be completely sufficient to heat the space even better! (Fingers crossed!) I could never programme the Purus one and to be fair, most of these panel heaters seem to have similar types of programming systems which, as mentioned, are pretty much unfathomable! However I don't need to programme it, so all I wanted was for it to be as slim as possible and to heat the space as well as possible. As the season gets colder I'll try to remember to update this review to let potential customers know how it's faired against colder weather! Last thing, it was nice to have something that was made in the UK =)

Good value electric wall heater
This is a convector heater in a 'stylish' metal casing, also with a 'modern' digital control panel. It looks far more attractive on the wall compared to previous (25 year) heaters there beforehand. Attaching to the wall is relatively straightforward. Attach the wall bracket and then hook the radiator on that. I understand why 'flimsy' has been mentioned before but the bracket is not flimsy but maybe the hooking process is. My previous heaters were screwed to a bracket after removing the front panel; this process was sturdy. Also removing the front panel allowed cleaning dust accumulation. I don't see a way of doing this with the new ones - hence four stars. In all though I am satisfied.

Warm, warm, warm
Purchased this wall mounted heater for one of our bedrooms. The 1.2kw version is perfect for our 14sq meter area room and unlike many other heaters, the thermostat differential between switching off and switching on again is also very, very, good in that the temperature of the room only needs to drop 2 and 3 degrees before the heater switches back on, unlike others that have to drop 4 degrees, causing the room to feel colder and prompting you to turn up the thermostat thereby using more electricity. The heater looks good and is easy to hang on the wall with the bracket supplied. A very good purchase and made in the UK.

Good heater but quite noisy through the night!
Good, slimline heater ideal for under low windows. Good temperature control but the timer isn't particularly easy to set up. Our main problem was the constant expanding and contracting of the unit through the night. Makes a loud clunk every hour or so. Fine if you are using this in a garage or conservatory, but not great if you have it in your bedroom. I've had plenty of heaters over the years and none are silent but this was excessive. Overall, good little heater unless you plan to use it in a bedroom!
