Moisturizing Heel Socks 2 Pairs Gel Lined Toeless Spa Socks to Heal and Treat Dry, Cracked Heels While You Sleep (Regular, Blue)

I had cracked heels that were bleeding and painful throughout most of the summer. I like to go barefoot when the weather is nice. I take care to pumice and moisturize my feet every night, but I never had a problem with cracked heels before this year. Wow, were they painful!!! I gave these gel socks a try with urea cream. My cracked heels were healed (yuk yuk yuk) in three days. I wore them overnight once with urea cream, but I found that too cumbersome (to be fair, I’m a difficult insomniac.) So I wore them the next night with urea cream for about an hour and a half, then took them off and rubbed the remaining cream off with a dry cloth. I repeated the next night and, miracle of miracles, my painful cracked heels were gone. My feet felt smooth, and I walked and slept comfortably. Like other reviewers say, don’t plan on walking in them too much. They are slippery with or without foot cream. If you’re watching TV or reading for an hour before bed, that’s plenty of time. The directions recommend using them on feet right out of the bath. I find that to be true. If you’re not planning to have a bath or shower, treat yourself to a warm foot soak for 10-20 minutes, then apply foot cream and wear these right after for about an hour. Truly, these socks, along with continued foot care and urea cream, made the rest of my barefoot summer pleasant and comfortable.

Ok folks. So I’ve got some serious problem heels. I’ve inherited them from my mom. No pedicure in the world has cured them. This week they had been painfully deeply cracked and bleeding, it hurt to walk. So I got these. Before bed last night I applied my Heel to Toe Intensive Care Overnight Repair Treatment, and slid on these booties. Typically, the Heel to Toe does a great job of temporarily relieving pain with a boost of moisture, but by morning my heels are awful again. Also- I hate sleeping in socks and usually kick them off in my sleep. BUT- this morning, I woke up with booties still on- thanks to being toeless and mildly snug they didn’t feel like sleeping in socks. When I took the booties off- no exaggeration- my heels felt like newborn baby feet. The deep cracks were almost entirely healed up and the bleeding stopped. The pain was gone as well. I loved them so much I gave a pair to my mom and made her touch my foot! Lol. I have never had anything work this well to heal my heels! Perfect booster to my foot cream. I like these a lot, the cotton makes them comfortable, and the seam which hits the arch is not bad. These are a LOT more comfortable/breathable than the blue and pink polyester socks (and bigger) while still appearing to be sturdy (cotton is more breathable, polyester is stronger and dries faster). The Bememo brand (also comfortable) started to unravel after one wash. The ZenToes black sock, in particular, is a little longer. I'm able to wear them during the day (with shoes) and walk. The seams are more comfortable than the Bememos for me. My feet have an extreme tendency to callouses and I have worn every gel sock there is out there. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Every brand. These are among the best of those which only cover the heel. I have small-ish feet (5.5-6.5) and they are a good fit; I think they would fit a larger foot. My only complaint is that I wish the gel would extend beyond the heel. I wish I could find a gel sock which has gel to the toes, something which doesn't cover the entire foot (too hot, like being wrapped in cellophane), but which covers most of the foot. I don't know why most of the socks only have gel on the heel, they should extend the gel as far as the material goes. I certainly have a cracked and calloused foot, not just the heel, but I get claustrophobic with the gel socks which cover the entire foot (just for sleeping). If you have this skin condition, remember to take fish oil (Pharmax brand is high quality, it helps my skin a lot) and vitamin D and get checked for sjogren's syndrome. This is an internal imbalance, but we are treating it with an external application. (i.e., our glands not creating enough moisture, for some of us it seems to be an auto-immune disease, developing callouses in less than 24 hours.) Still, the gel socks are an effective treatment. At night, I also like the wax spa treatment, wrapping my feet in baggies, putting a sock atop the baggie, and sleeping in them all night: softens and moisturizes the foot. Hope this helps.

Love these socks! They are cute and really help to soften my feet and removed my dry cracks on my heels. They go perfect with O'Keeffe's foot cream and my cracked heals are no more after just 4 days of use!! I love that the inside heel is gel. It really helps to keep the moisture locked onto my heel overnight instead of absorbing into a regular sock or onto my sheets. Fabulous product! This year for Christmas I am doing "Jackie's favorite things" and this will be included in the gifts to 4 people this year. I am sure they will lie them as much as I do. Hopefully these go on sale here and there! The only tad bit of negativity is they do get slippery so I would suggest putting these on right before bed and taking them off when you wake up. I can not speak on the cleaning process of these yet. I will clean them every week. Description says to hand wash with soap.

These work great at first, but don't last long. Had gotten several for sleeping. The stitching starts unraveling within a few uses. Have gone thru about 6 pairs each lasting a couple weeks max.

Product seems good, and feels great on my feet. I haven’t had much time to use them, but I’m sure they’ll be good. After using socks for a few weeks now, I can give a better review. The sock itself is ok, but it’s the silicone in the heel that doesn’t last. After one week, there wasn’t any silicone left on the heel. I followed all directions, and hand washed them in cold water, and lay flat to dry.

I never new these socks even existed until they popped up whilst I searched for cream for cracked heels. Coupled with regular use of the cream, wearing these socks accelerated the repair process remarkably. I still use them frequently at night even after my heels have been completely healed, just to keep the skin supple. A very effective yet inexpensive purchase.

This one is highly recommended! My husband and I use this every night together with Keefe’s foot cream and it did wonders on our feet! It’s so comfortable as well.
