Used in kitchen sinks and master bathroom shower. Incredibly effective. But the claim of "No blowback and little to no odor" isn't quite accurate! Poured directly into shower drain (after clearing hair from the trap) and it boiled over like a volcano. When poured into the kitchen sink (more like a small bar sink) it boiled and spit like a pre-eruption volcano. Splattered onto and burned holes in my pants. Didn't realize until my skin started to itch and I looked down. When using this stuff, heed the warnings! Eye protection, gloves, thick clothes you're ok with throwing away, etc...

Bought this product from a local home improvement store. Took it home and followed the directions. After 15 minutes we went into the bathroom to find the toilet bowl was cracked through, I assume from the intense exothermic reaction that even partially melted the bottle as my wife was pouring it out. Not sure if the floor is now compromised from all the water that ended up on the floor from this as well. It may work but there are some major risks that come along with it.

MY wife!...Her hair!!!! GONE! (wait, my wife stayed her hair in the drain is gone). This is the best stuff I have ever used...mostly because you can smell it work (turn on your exhaust fan). No more red bottles for me ever! I bought this at local hardware store and when I saw it on amazon, I bought in bulk because well, she has hair and it ends up in the drains so I will be ready for a couple of years. I would post a picture of me smiling but no one wants to see that.
