Goya Exotic Blend With Sea Salt Latin Roots Chips, 6 Ounce (Pack of 6)

I used to buy the original Terra chips just for the taro chips. I would only buy them on sale, because they are expensive at the store. The Goya Latin Root Chips, Tropical Taro, are not exactly cheap, but cheaper than Terra. I was worried after reading some reviews that they were oily or that the oil had gone bad. The bags I received were all good for another 5 months (May 2025). They were super fresh and delicious, not too salty. I don't even notice the oil. They are exactly what I was hoping for. The only negative is that I can't stop eating them! I will definitely buy again.

These 6oz bags are full. Not like Terra chips you get a big bag of air and crushed chips. And I was looking for a taro chip since Terra discontinued theirs in their mixed bag. Some of these are large round pieces. They are crunchy and delicious. I will order again.

I like goya brands including their exotic potatoe chips. I liked the freshness and flavor of these chips.

The chips were tasty. I had them for a snack around 4, and it was the first thing I'd eaten since noon. A few hours later my stomach started cramping. I made several trips to the bathroom in the next few hours. No vomiting, thankfully. I called Amazon about it, and they were helpful and apologetic. The customer service was excellent, but certainly don't reccomend this product. Amazon said they would get in touch with the distributor. I'm writing this review to warn others. I have no known food allergies, and a fairly tough stomach. It's possible one of these root vegetables was just unknown to my body, and that caused the issue, or it could something bacteria-related. Who knows?

These are so much better than Terra chips! They have changed the vegetables they use, and now it’s basically two types of potato chip, a sweet potato, and parsnips, That’s it! I found these, and I’m never going back. Thick and crunchy. The chips are thicker so they stay hole rather than a bunch of crumbs at the bottom of the bag when you open it like the other brand. They have Yuca, Taro, purple sweet potato. They are so so good!

I love these chips and have them as a subscription but they sent me a case of pork rinds instead this time! Not sure what I am going to do with those things. So 4 star for taro chips and 0 for pork rinds.
