This is the 5th brand of Jiaogulan I've bought from amazon. The seller could advertise it way better imo. A thank you to the other reviewer that took a chance; wouldn't have bought it otherwise. I've been drinking jiaogulan for years, it's my go-to tea for de-stressing, and this is lovely, fresh and bittersweet, just as I desired. I'd highly recommend it over the other brands, but keep in mind I post this on the same day I received it. I'll edit this review if I find fault with my experience later. btw be more careful with opening or use scissors, don't do what I did lol

Very few, if any, stems in this - I've had some other Jiaogulan direct from china that was full of them before now.

Good quality leaves, which is evident when brewed as the leaves are whole rather than broken. Strong flavour too. Price was pretty good, considering what other vendors are repackaging and charging for their jiaogulan. This tea came in the original Chinese packaging. Would repurchase.

I must confess to being unimpressed by the image of a polythene bag but noticed that the package information stated 'tin' so I imagined it would come in a type of caddy. The tea actually arrived in a metalised package with a well printed label albeit in Chinese. It did, however, give the production and expiry date clearly in English. So why did I try a product with zero reviews? There was a naive authenticity about it that was worth a stab and it was certainly worth the gamble. The taste is delicious with absolutely no evidence of the type of contamination reported in other offerings - feathers, twigs, hairs, etc. Bottom line... if you are into refreshing green tea and looking to lower your blood sugar levels, then this Jiaogulan comes highly recommended.
