I am so happy with my purchase of this terrarium. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews but seeing as those were a couple years old took a chance and am so glad I did! I chose this for the unique look. Not just a fish tank.

Very attractive and well priced!

It looks great. I got it to make a terrarium and I think it's good for that purpose. The bottom wood part is fairly cheap feeling but it looks good and you can't tell unless you pick it up. The reason I only gave it 4 stars though is because the top ball doesn't create a solid seal. Theres small slivers of opening so it's not completely air tight. I wanted to make a closed terrarium so I'm not sure how this affects it. You wouldn't want to store food in this though. You also should NOT put fish in this. Not even a betta. It's too small and you can't put a filter in. Your fish will die and it's irresponsible to advertise is with fish.

The only issue I had was that the wooden ball could fall through the opening. It's designed pretty and sturdy. It was perfect for what I used it for. I highly recommend. It perfect to create memories and to give as a gift.

Great size and quality

I should have read the measurements a little better. It was a little smaller than I expected, but it worked for my plans. It is very pretty and great quality! Will use to make a Terranium.

The wood and glass seems to be adequate quality. I have put water in mine for a mini water grass terrarium and its held water and hasn't had any leaks. PErfect for what I had intended to use it for. The wood coloring and design is representative to the picture,

It’s really beautiful and I’m excited to make a plant terrarium but 3 stars because as others mentioned, the ball is too small and falls inside (I used felt pads to keep in place) and the jar doesn’t fit in the base well. I like the aesthetic of it so much that that doesn’t bother me too much but depending on where you have it, it could slip off the base pretty easily. So the 3 stars is for workmanship otherwise it would have been 5 star!

Perfect for my small heart leaf fern, a single string of turtles, piece of tradescantia and an African Violet. I plan to put in another fern today! The ball is very nice and the wooden tray is as well. If you're large handed you'll need tools to get in there, my hands are small so I didn't have a problem but I know a lot of men enjoy terrariums and this would require the long tweezers and rakes for them!

the glass is super streaky and distorts what's under the cloche. it's fine for a terrarium but for an artistic project like mine i can't use this :(

La boule de bois servant de bouchon était de diamètre plus petit que l'ouverture du terrarium de verre: la boule s'est retrouvée au fond du contenant! La base de bois pour recevoir le contenant de verre est trop petite et ce à tel point que la base de bois ne pouvait pas être utilisée. Sérieux problèmes de contrôle de la qualité chez le fournisseur du produit.

I don't why my ball could fit inside of the tank...
