We like the original HP! Lasts a long time!
There are cheaper options out there. I like the HP original toner. It is for our home printer and quality makes a difference. Since we just do occasional printer, works great for us. Our office use to use the generic ones and they ran out all the time. I rather invest in HP for our home. The last toner we purchased lasted us an entire year!

It Would Get Five Stars Except for One Thing
I've had excellent results from HP brand toner cartridges ever since I bought my first HP LaserJet printer over 20 years ago. I now have a Pro M203dw, purchased in February 2020, which is the last in the series of printers that performed and lasted very well. I always have ordered the higher capacity cartridges for all these printers because for anyone who does a fair amount of printing, the cost per copy is considerably reduced that way. I bought this one here on September 8, 2023, when the "toner supplies light" on the printer control panel came on. I knew I had a project for Christmas that would require several hundred print pages, so I wanted to be ready when it came time to replace the one in the printer. I kept track of the number of copies I used since that light illuminated, and most of them were full-page text, not little stuff. On the relevant HP web page, this is what we read as the description of the function of that light: "Indicates when the toner cartridge is very low, or when there is an error with the toner cartridge or imaging drum." This printer is well maintained, which principally consists of keeping the paper path clean and protecting the toner cartridge and drum. The drum is functioning just fine; the only issue is the depleting toner in the now exhausted toner cartridge. Here is the sorry issue I've been setting the stage for: The warning light is supposed to go on when the toner is "very low." To any reasonable person, "very low" means that the cartridge is in imminent danger of giving out, right? Well, here is what has happened since September 8, when the light came on and I ordered the cartridge I just installed. Since that day, I have run 804 (plus or minus 5%) print sides, most of them full pages of text. HP says that the 30X toner cartridge will run about 3,500 sides, which means that the warning light---"very low"---came on when there still were 804 sides to go, or 23% of 3,500. There is no way that 23% is "very low," unless of course you're trying to get users to ditch perfectly good toner cartridges much earlier than necessary. Unless the setup is flawed in design and/or execution, that is the most likely reason this happens. So if you buy this product, keep close watch on print quality, because you'll get several hundred more than you think you will.

Ink going the distance
The real deal, but my box arrived slightly crushed. This cartridge lasts for a significant number of prints. If it goes grey, remove and shake side to side gently, reinsert, and you’ll be printing beautifully again for even longer. Great product. Lasts me months.

This Lasts a Very Long Time
I'm still waiting for my first purchase of this cartridge to run dry. Who knows, it may get me past the singularity.
