The product itself is perfectly fine, good quality, no issues EXCEPT if you're looking for a cprm compatible disc to record your "copy once" movies off of premium channels, you might run into a problem. I think (or thought) most dvd-rw are cprm compatible, but apparently not this one, unless it's my dvd recorder (toshiba dr430uk) which I doubt because the recorder itself is cprm compatible but I'm having the hardest time finding a compatible dvd-rw to copy onto. Onto the next brand of dvd-rw's... if anyone has had luck in finding a cprm compatible dvd-rw to copy off of premium channels (on a toshiba dvd recorder) i'd love to know which one worked!! Thanks...

The best there is! Had a bunch of DVD-R’s but moving VHS to DVD needed the RW feature. High quality images and easy to work with. Ready to buy another bunch!

These discs are great for backing up large files, and downloading large files for transport to multiple devices for use. Erase and rewrite many, many times. I don't trust the cloud for storing data so I back it all up and these discs do a fantastic job.

The quality of this is almost flawless; I have purchased many of these. I've only had one or two bad discs and they were the kind of defect you want if you have to have one in that it wouldn't format from the get go (thus saving one from from having an important recording that won't finalize). The price is great as well, you get 30 in a spindle as opposed to 25 or less. I have tried several brands, including Memorex, Maxell, and others. The Maxell comes in second for quality, and the yellow color is good for color coding, however the price is very high, especially considering you only get 15 in a spindle of those. The Memorex version is OK but there are too many defective discs. To sum things up, I strongly recommend the Verbatim pictured above.

This is for the Verbatim DVD-RW Blank Discs 4.7GB 4X Recordable Discs - 30pk Spindle 95179. I've used Verbatim discs for a long time. However, I've seen a noticeable decline in their performance over the last few years. Still, they are rated as a good brand (not just on Amazon). But, this set I'm reviewing is the absolute worst! When a blank is inserted into the DVD drive, the first thing you notice is a LOT of noise! As if that's not bad enough, I've only been able to get TWO of these discs to actually burn data on them. Even those couldn't be verified with burning software. Most are basically coasters. I do NOT recommend these for anyone, and it will be a long time before I buy another Verbatim disc!

ich habe bereits die 4. DVD-RW probiert, aber nach 2 mal bespielen ist sie kaputt !!! Einschieben, formatieren, bespielen, aber schon beim nächsten Formatieren gibt es die ersten Schwierigkeiten und beim 3. Mal wird die Disc nicht mehr erkannt und als inkompatibel bezeichnet! So ein Schrott !!!
