I purchased this security camera 14 months ago and it was a good purchase for ease of use v quality of camera v cost. It wasn't difficult to set up and operate, but you need to be able to understand some of the basics about security cameras and how they link into your home WIFI. It can be out of the box ready, but you wont get the full potential if you don't understand how to get the best out of it. After about 10 months it developed an issue, that being the colour picture turned 50 shades of red. By the time I reported it to the customer services it was beyond 12 months so I was just looking for any help possible. I was informed that the camera had a 24 month warranty and within a few days of first responding I was sent a new camera, so back up and fully running. I almost didn't contact the customer services thinking it was out of support but they were excellent, prompt and very polite. So 5/5 for the customer service.

This was just what I was looking for in a Security camera for the rear garden of my property. The remote motion in the camera enables a wide coverage. That with the motion sensor, the spot light, siren (which are all customisable to have on or off), along with the time setting capability and remote battery indicator, make this Security Camera ideal for purpose.

Had this security camera for over a week now and so far quite pleased with the results especially for what I paid. First thing I had to do was charge up the camera indoors and install the app on your phone. I should point out that I was forced to use the CloudEdge app as the default COOAU app you were directed to in the instructions no longer exists on GooglePlay (if using an Android phone) The CloudEdge app appears to work though and does everything I would expect it to Using the app you could then measure the wi-fi signal to your camera and you were advised to do this when selecting where you were going to install the camera outdoors. A strong wi-fi signal is required although where I have it installed I'm getting about 70% signal which is fine. After initial set up on my phone by installing the app, I can connect to the camera live feed from my phone and even rotate the camera from the phone (PTZ) albeit quite slowly. Note this can be done from anywhere your phone has access to internet so doesn't even have to be at home. As well as live footage you can view any footage recorded when the motion detector has been triggered. The motion detector can be configured from the app and so far there has been a few cases (out of probably 50 or so) where it hasn't picked up people in its range. By default, it is set up in the app to detect human sized objects only so I've tried switching this off to see if this improves the hit rate. In addition, you can change the sensitivity of the detector so I guess it may just be trial and error to find the sweet spot. Battery life has been OK. I've lost about 15% in a week although I was probably looking at the footage more in the last week than I would do normally (footage is watched on the app using micro SD card in the camera). I would say 4 to 6 weeks it to be expected rather than the 4 to 6 months stated although the figure they've stated may be based on over 90% wifi signal at all times. The 4-6 weeks recharge is fine for me though and you can always buy the solar panel for it if you don't want to have to recharge it ever I currently have the footage being recorded to the micro SD card only although there is the (paid for) option to have it uploaded to the cloud if you want extra security from having additional copies and in case the camera itself gets stolen. I have put the camera out of most people's reach, as advised. At night the pictures are in black and white but the image is still good. Once motion is detected the in-built light will switch on and the image changes to colour. There is an option to have the light on all the time at night although I suspect this would drain the battery much quicker

Arrived well packaged within 24 hours of ordering. Really, really easy to install. There's even a helpful little stick-on template highlighting the screw positions for the bracket. It took about two minutes to setup on WiFi after downloading the app, and as it arrived fully charged, it was up and running more or less straight away. Really clear picture both day and night, with the light triggering immediately upon detection, changing the monochrome night picture to full colour. It's also really easy to set up the area to be recorded by blocking out the sections which you don't need to see. In our case there is a small part of a footpath which would cause the motion detector to trigger each time someone walked past, but we've blocked that out, so now it only triggers when someone crosses our property boundary. PTZ is great! With just a small adjustment, as well as monitoring our front door, we can now also see our electric car's charging point when it's plugged in and charging, which is a big bonus for us. Especially when it's charging overnight. All in all we're really happy with this camera and will probably buy another for the back garden. Fantastic piece of kit!

Excellent camera, solar panel works perfectly. Clear image, even at night. Very solid and well built. I recommend. Excellent customers after sales support, had an issue and they solved it promptly.

He comprado 3 cámaras y la verdad muy contento con ellas. Buenas resolución, buen funcionamiento y buena estética. El manejo muy sencillo, la instalación muy sencilla. Batería con mucha autonomía, funciona más de 2-3 días sin cargar. En invierno días de poco sol carga suficiente y al día siguiente todavía tiene más del 80% de carga. La App muy intuitiva y con un montón de ajustes para personalizar. 6sg. de grabación gratis en la nube. He tenido un problema hace poco tiempo y me he puesto en contacto con el vendedor. Me soluciono el problema enviándome otra cámara sin devolución. Tengo que decir que me equivoqué de código postal, me di cuenta pasados unos días. Se lo comunique al vendedor y me envió otra siendo error mío. Poco más puedo decir que cámara y vendedor un 10.

Hacen su labor, buenas cámaras.

Tiene mucha calidad de imagen de día y de noche. Todas las funciones que anuncia cumplen a la perfección. Puedes seleccionar en la pantalla la zona que quieres que detecte dentro de toda la visión que te da. Las luces etc va todo muy bien. Como pegas diré que la alarma no es muy potente, el sonido que recibe es bastante malo pues no se aprecia y se entrecorta, pero lo peor para mi es que con un 70% de intensidad de la wifi, en remoto desde fuera de casa falla muchas veces mientras realiza el cifrado de la imagen y además de ser lento y no poder ver rápido la imagen, a veces ni llega a conectarse hasta realizar varios intentos. En cuanto a la carga del panel es genial. Después de la primera carga no he tenido que tocarla más. Está todo el día encendida y apenas hasta un 5% de batería que recarga por la mañana sin problemas. Si podría mejorar la detección que la tengo solo para humanos y salta cuando el viento mueve los árboles o cuando pasa el perro por delante a 4 metros. Por lo demás, va de cine. Lástima que la compré antes que Alexa y no es compatible con ese sistema inteligente.

Facilita su colocación que el cable pueda desconectarse, hay otras marcas que no y no veas cómo fastidia pasar un muro, por ejemplo. El panel solar carga suficientemente la batería, así que es apto para espacios sin acceso a la línea eléctrica, sin duda esto es lo mejor. Al igual que la mayoría de cámaras con panel solar, no tiene autotracking por aquello del ahorro de energía. Detecta los sujetos con bastante precisión y no da falsas alarmas, como sí me ha ocurrido con otras marcas de similar precio. El panel solar tiene su punto estético, al igual que la cámara. Bien por ello. No tiene avisos por ruido, ojo con esto, aunque su lado bueno es que el viento no la dispara innecesariamente como me ocurre con otras que sí montan esta opción. La fijación tipo click de la cámara al soporte podría mejorarse para empujes fuertes de viento. La app es algo engorrosa y le vendría bien una revisión de algún hispano parlante para su traducción al español, aunque como no hay que configurarla demasiado porque no emite alarmas diurnas, en realidad la montas y la dejas actuar. De momento no me da problemas ni avisos innecesarios, y en mi opinión tiene un precio bastante competitivo según está este mercado. En resumen, instalar y listo. Saludos.
