It isn't sturdy enough to be on a checked bag

This was a let down. It looked very cheap when it arrived. It broke off my father's suitcase the first time he traveled with it. It isn't sturdy enough to be on a checked bag, but I was looking for a way to make his bag stand out on the carousel. Would not recommend this for anything more than a dufflebag that is always on you, and even then i'm not confident. I was disappointed with the quality in all aspects.
