I am not sure what I was expecting when I purchased this for my daughter as a birthday gift. We ended up buying two of these, one for each daughter. They love them. The controls are easy to use and they can play DVDs or music CDs on the device. The plastic cover seems to be enough to protect the machine especially as they are portable and could be expected to have some wear and tear such as when traveling. We did have one issue with the first machine though. Shortly after it arrived, we began experiencing a glitch on the screen. This soon morphed into 3-4 problems. However, the second machine never had a single issue. As it developed over time, we realized that we had passed the 30 day return window, but I still reached out to the company to see about a resolution. The company was extremely prompt in responding to me. I sent them pictures of the issue and they offered to replace the machine at no charge. It was sent directly to our home with no additional hassles and they followed up each step of the way to ensure that we were satisfied. While I have never before heard of IEGeek machines, I have no problems and highly recommend one of these little devices for you or your children. The sound is satisfactory with the use of headphones and the picture quality is good. However, I would definitely recommend the 16.9" screen which is what we got. I think they only come in a deep purple color at this time. Great value for the money and a great company to work with. I will definitely buy from them again!

We started using IeGeek DVD players almost 3 years ago and have never had an issue. Our older DVD player still works 3 years later and we use it for road trips. We love this brand because these dvd players do not skip when you're driving in the car, I've never had them skip ever. We are actually currently using this DVD player as a new TV for the kids playroom because it's so large, This version is the size of a large laptop and we love it. The picture is very clear and the volume goes all the way up to 20 which is pretty loud. They've upgraded this DVD player and now it has a flashing low battery sign in the top right hand of the screen that comes on when it's time to hooke up your charger, our last model would just shut off when the battery was dead- it's really nice to have that feature to earn you so that you have time to plug it in so it doesn't shut off on you during a movie. The screen swivels completely around 360 degrees(only in one direction) and can even be flipped backwards and closed which is pretty neat. Iused a regular sized DVD case to show how big the DVD player really is. This comes with a remote control, a dc charger, A/V cables for TV hookup, and a 12V car charger to take it on the road. Would definitely recommend this DVD player to anyone needing a small TV for their kids, or something to take on road trips with them to keep the kids occupied.

Great picture! Still have a 20 yr old player that works but is finicky & skips if moved. Upgraded to entertain a 2yr old during a long car ride. Wow! What an improvement! Used TFY Universal headrest mount. No skips, easy setup, good sound, & remote very handy! Didn’t time the battery usage but was at least 5 hrs. Extremely pleased with purchase.

Easy to operate. Screen size is great and colors good. Removing 1 star because volume / speaker is not loud enough for my hard of hearing mother.

I got this for my 84 year old grandmother, who barely likes anything I buy for her lol, but she loves this dvd player! The color is beautiful, the screen is huge, and plays movies clearly. Definitely worth the price! 5 stars indeed!

So far it's been great! First impression it was larger than I thought it would be, not in a bad way though. It's the size of a laptop, but very lightweight. Comes with many accessories like charger, car charger, remote , tv hook ups which is a plus! Video and sound are great for the price, I wasn't expecting new age flat screen quality, but it's definitely better than I expected! Sound isn't super load but sufficient for one person which is what a portable DVD is designed for anyway. Headphone plug is an option if your looking for louder. All in all the device is great, I bought it for me and my 9 year old has already taken possession of it sinces the buttons are so easy to maneuver. IeGeek customer service has been great as well. Reached out to them to activate the 12 month warranty and they made it easy!! Will definitely buy again since my daughter stole mine!

This is a great DVD player. I bought it for my son to use on a road trip which we did this last weekend. The unit has a 14” inch screen! The picture is very clear and the unit works great! My son watched movies for 5 hours straight until we got to our destination, and then watched most of a movie in the hotel before we had to plug it in! The only complaint that I would have is that I wish the external speakers were a lil better, but honestly, I bought it for my son to use with headphones, and it works great for that! I can’t tell you how happy I am with this purchase. It functions better than I expected. If you need a good little DVD player for travel (or whatever) give this one a try!
