look great but have some reoccurring issues
As with all my previous Adidas trail running or hiking shoes, I have had to add some of those heel retaining things (sorry not sure what there called but stop your heel rising up out of the shoe as you walk). Two other issues that I have also suffered before on previous Adidas trail footwear. The knot that holds the lace in the quick tightening device (again sorry don't know the proper name) came loose after two uses of the shoe meaning I had to mess around trying to fix a basically brand new pair of shoes. Issue number 2 - The quick tightening device gets tucked under a small elasticated thing that is supposed to stop it flapping around when you walk. Well on one of my shoes that has busted already after less than 20 miles use. Very mixed feelings about these shoes. On a positive note... they look fantastic.

Did not meet my expectations
Bought these based on the reviews and I’m totally confused. These are the hardest shoes I’ve ever owned, read “no cushion”. Thought I was being picky so wore them for two weeks and they are breaking in but wow....they are hard. They fit okay, a bit of heel slip initially but as the shoe broke in it lessened. Will try changing insert and they look great but will probably end up going back to my ugly Brooks Ghost gtx. Don’t know what I was thinking.

Great shoes in dry conditions
What can I say. For the price you cant beat them. I am a tower climber and bought these shoes to try out for the summer time. I wanted something that had a very ridged bottom (something that wouldn't flex) and something that was extremely light weight (which they are). So far they have been a great shoes to wear! When I first got them they were almost too stiff of a shoe but after having them for roughly 2-3 months now they have broken in and feel comfortable.Pros: light, speed laced, comfortable, looks good!Cons: unfortunately their statement of saying the have great grip even in wet conditions is completely false. At least on metal. If there is even a chance of rain when I'm on the tower I wear my old boots. These shoes have no grip on wet metal surfaces. For this reason I would not buy these shoes again because I can only wear them when its dry.

Love my adidas Terrex Swift R2's
This being my third or four pairs, the quality speaks volumes. Being a mountain trail hiker and mountain biker, these light hikers fit the lifestyle. They become my daily routine of 2-3 miles on improved trail and are great for hard surface walking as well. The cleats adjust well for bedding the routine 8-10 miles on my daily commute. I've found that the black sole material is great for mud, loose gravel trail and earth. The colored sole material performs well on ice and snow which is seasonally common here in Alaska. Well fitting, well suiting and well respected.

Great Shoes
These shoes feel wonderful. They are sturdy, maybe a bit heavy, but rigid for hiking trails or just walking around the streets. They are water resistant and they are very easy to slip on and off and you can tighten them down if you need more grip.

Highly disappointing Adidas
These hiking shoes are extremely stiff with very little arch support or cushioning. (Feels like walking with boards on your feet.) The very thin speed-laces snapped on my third wear. Very unimpressed and cannot recommend, unless you’re into poor fitting 2x4’s with angel hair pasta laces. I’ll reorder my Merrell or Salomon’s.

Material de muy buena calidad
Realmente me agrado mucho, aunque es un poco duro, esperaba que fuera mas comodo, su material es de muy buena calidad, me quedo un poco justo pero enseguida empezo a estirar, estoy muy satisfecho
