Top notch! Restaurant quality sesame oil!! I used to pick up this exact brand at my local Asian market before they moved. Great aroma, flavor & a great price!

Tastes good. Large container, took me over a year to get through it. Handy no-drip vented pouring spout. Figuring out how to open it for the first time was a challenge: remove the safety seal then pry the edge up using a spoon as a lever, counterintuitively it helps to press down on the center of the cap while doing this. Have re-purchased.

Most frequently, in Asia, Sesame (seed) Oil is made from roasted sesame seeds, and is brown and flavorful. That’s called “Pure” Sesame Oil. It’s wonderful for making salad dressings. I use it mostly for cooking such as stir-frying. If it is dark roasted it’s called Black Sesame Oil and has an even stronger flavor. In America it is usually made from unroasted seeds, is clear, and near flavorless as corn oil. Sesame oil is also sold with other flavors, such as red pepper added in the small bottles. I’ve bought Sesame oil in lots of countries. Nothing made in America has that distinctive toasted sesame flavor I look for when preparing certain Korean and Japanese recipes. Nothing tastes better than Kadoya Pure Sesame Oil; and ; impurities are filtered better than off brands. I always buy the big 56 oz can at Amazon. It’s sold in the can to enhance storage; but, why pay $1.20 an oz for small bottle when you can get it for $0.34 an oz in a can. Stored properly (closed, at room temperature) a can usually last me about a year. The lid is ingenious. It’s easy to open/close and it has a pouring spout that eliminates the glug glug splash splash… The instructions are right on the lid. Very good value in this large size tin . I fill a small glass bottle from it, and keep it on my gas range warming shelf for every day use. I love it richness and earthiness of the flavor. I often added it to olive oil which I am frying or sautéing with. I put it in soups and stews. I especially use it when making Asian style recipes. Soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil are my basics for south east Asian and Chinese cooking. Then use rice wine vinegar and lemon grass, sometimes fish sauce. I keep the tin of sesame oil in the refrigerator and it lasts several months until I use it up.

This sesame oil is hands-down the best I’ve ever used ... but beyond that the seller is exceptional! I purchased oil from them about a year ago, 1 56oz can, and it arrived damaged ... a pretty good-sized dent, but the container still intact so there was no leakage. The seller replaced the product, without question, very quickly and allow me to keep the damage can which, in all honesty, was perfectly fine. Based on that experience, I chose to purchase from them again. This time I purchasd three cans, one of which was slightly damaged, but at this point I was not willing to trouble this seller with such a trivial problem, since the product is excellent, and their customer service is even better! Also, I know that most of this damage occurs in shipping which is out of their control. Especially with this Covid fiasco going for the last couple years, I imagine these problems are the norm. Long and short of it is have no fear using this merchant!! ... and did I mention that the sesame oil is superb in quality, flavor, and it makes my house smell oh so good!! THANKS!

Toasted sesame oil is a must in my pantry and I use it to add flavor and provide another healthy oil option besides EVOO But sesame oil is expensive This find of one of the best toasted sesame oils on the market for a great price is a huge find On auto delivery every 4 months I refill my smaller sesame oil bottle and save money while having a great product

The product itself is fine, and the price is good even compared to what you pay in grocery stores. However, I found the can difficult to open, even following the instructions on the can. Did manage to open it eventually. However, it's near impossible to close. Went online to YouTube and other instructional videos, and even following those instructions I could not manage to close/seal the can. Supposedly you press on the middle of the metal cap, then push in the side metal tabs. For me, that did absolutely nothing -- and I tried over and over and over again until my finger hurt. Why it cannot be a twist-top cap is beyond me. I ended up putting plastic wrap over the opening, then a rubberband around the top. Hopefully that will be a good enough seal otherwise I'll be wasting a lot of expensive sesame oil. Manufacturer really needs to redesign the cap. I can't imagine how hard it would be for someone with arthritis or limited mobility in the hands.

This is a staple in my home. We will run out of ketchup and mustard before this!!!🤣 It’s one of my fave brands and tastes just like it smells , very toasty and nutty flavor. The cost may seem high, but the quality is good and a little goes a long way so this should last you a long time.

Für mich ist es das beste Sesamöl und ich habe es schon mehrfach nachgekauft. Nie mehr ohne! Das Öl ist immer lange haltbar, weshalb ich es immer auf Vorrat kaufe.
