Really like this doll. From her face sculpt and unusual lip colour to her long dark hair and great outfit... She just looks so cool. The only random thing is the pizza handbag. I mean... Answers on a postcard please! Other than that she's one of the more co-ordinated and well put together Extra dolls in my opinion. This doll didn't seem to appear in physical stores, at least not that I noticed, so I'm very happy I was able to get her here. It's a shame that Mattel appear to have quietly discontinued the Barbie Extra line, as it was such a fun doll line!

This doll just blows me away, she is so beautiful! Love her long, black hair and soft features, even the lavender lip gloss some doll collectors on YouTube didn’t like! But I wasn’t so keen on the silver mini skirt, or lavender fur trim on her silver jacket. So…I kept the lavender high necked top and the cool purple boots, but made her a floaty dress out of a scarf - in soft lavender, blues and greens with full skirts (boots still showing) - which I picked up at a local charity shop. I matched her new dress with two belts made out of trims I got from a local haberdashery, one broad and lavender coloured, the other a silver cord, to pick up on the doll’s silvery bling. She comes with an adorable pet Dalmatian puppy, which now sits smiling, tucked firmly under one arm.

Attractive black dolls, representative of black woman/sister hood, like this one were rare, non exsistent in my childhood. I congratulate the makers of Barbie for having the foresight to rethink and rebrand their tranditonal Barbie & Ken dolls for today's multi-cultural world thereby giving children of all colours the opportunity to relate and see representation of the world around them. This is a beautiful doll. I am so pleased the makers did not just change the skin colour of your typical Barbie doll (like in my childhood) but took the time and effort to create a new dolls with distinctive hairstyles, racial features and skin tones, clothing representative of the diversity of the black race - just like the non-black Barbies are representative of theirs!

Lovely doll

There is one thing that I hated about her. The clothes!!! Overall, she is so pretty. I decided to give her new clothes. The shoes were pretty but the rest wasn’t. I only got her because of her beauty because I don’t care about the clothes. She is the most beautiful of all and is too pretty. I love her. I rated her five stars but really I would rate her over 5!!!!

Eine coole Y2K-Puppe mit schön gestaltetem Gesicht, das nahezu an die Qualität früherer Barbiepuppen der Nuller-Jahre heranreicht. Die Accessoires inklusive des Haustieres sind etwas fragwürdig, aber dafür ist die Kleidung richtig cool. Ich bin sehr zufrieden damit.

Ses cheveux sont doux et longs, ils manquent un peu d'épaisseur. Son maquillage est mauve. Ses vêtements et ses bottes dont originales. Je l'ai acheté moitié prix et c'est bien car sinon le prix est généralement trop élevé. Elle mérite son achat. Les petites filles vont aimer ses beaux cheveux.
