Broken case
The plastic case to protect the stone was broken and there’s a small chip in the stone but all in all it is good as what you expected from the brand! Thank you

Awesome stone, this is my first naniwa stone and I can see now why the make a big deal out of it. Cuts fast, dosen't load up and leaves a good edge on the knife. The stone is supposed to be a wet and go stone, but it needs a quick 1min soak in water, but no big deal still a Awesome stone.

I love the product, it’s the next step up for me from a 1k naniwa. It doesn’t last long take some time to are from Japan but it is worth it

I love how this stone feels. It leaves a crazy polish for 2000 grit. You're not far from a mirror if you work on it a minute, and you've progressed to at least 600 grit or so. I don't see it as fast, but definitely not a slow stone. Its very easy to lock your bevel down flat on this stone and work without wobble because of its hardness. It will release abrasive readily though. It also seems to stay pretty flat if you do some occasional lapping. It loads slightly, but not much at all. Most rinses right off. Now the negative, its pretty thirsty for a splash and go. You'll need to either give a quick, 1-2 min soak or do lots of spraying. Don't let this go dry or you will load the stone much worse. Also it's 15mm thick instead of 20 or 25 like most Naniwa stones. I think the price reflects the 5mm less stone though, I think it's a good price for how much polishing this stone will do. It's the newer version of what they used to call the Choseras. They claim that it's been slightly improved somehow.

レビューが良かったので購入しました。大変良く研げ中砥石前に軽く当てるだけで中砥石研ぎが凄く楽になります。減りが早いのでもう少し厚いともっと良いかな。

Me encantó. Aunque soy aprendiz afilando cuchillos… y lo hago incorrectamente. Solo me gustaría que incluyeran algún video, aunque sea en inglés, para aprender a usar correctamente las piedras y sacar el mejor provecho de ellas. Saludos
