I was recommended this product by a professional friend, and boy they are so easy to fit to the post's and protect the posts in the long term. Time will tell over the coming years to see how they stand up to our UK winter weather 🌨️☔ to prevent work in the future.

These are a life saver used these a few times after revamping the garden to find the old posts had perished quite badly, work really well and extend the lifespan of the posts.

These are fine. Who knows if they work or are water traps. The only problem is that the top (or bottom) edge of the wrap can actually lift away from the post by a couple of mm , which essentially creates a water trap.

easy to apply - makes sense they will help

Can't really review if these work yet, but after multiple storms this year the most recent blew down 11m of fence, all of which had snapped clean at ground level, meaning rot - have nothing to lose trying these! Instructions said 2kw heat gun was needed, thankfully my 1.75kw did the job! Followed instructions, easy to apply and heat on. Instructions said to use a roller...I didn't have one so used a rolling pin, worked just the same....except I now need to buy a new rolling pin lol Great product, and good to see they're UK made

Not sure these are any more durable that Flashband or similar applied in the same way. I have just dug up several posts protected in the soil by Flashband for the last 15 years. The bits of the posts in the ground were fine, but the un-protected, above ground bits - part of a compost bin - were rotten (it's what compost does!). Thought I'd try these instead. The plastic outer coat of the post-savers does not seem to be 'shrink-fit' so you have to be careful to stretch it over corners as much as possible. Also I found applying the heat gun to the black mastic side before pressing down ensured all-over melting.
