The battery fits perfectly in the PSP. You can put the back door on it and it will also fit perfectly with no issues. Definitely buy this one!

Does NOT come new!!!
This product says it comes BRAND NEW. I received the battery and it is swollen. I can’t even close the cover to the battery case!!! Old batteries get swollen but not NEW ones. Pretty sad :(

Not a good oem replacement
I bought this battery to replace a non functional oem batter in my Sony PSP-1001. It would charge up from dead to 100 percent within 45 minutes, which is a bad sign right off the bat. Sitting unused, it would not hold a charge longer than a week. I played the PSP and it went dead after 3 hours. For the price, I guess it works? Look elsewhere for something of better quality. The packaging was decent, for what it's worth.
