Great phyto. Very concentrated compared to other live phyto. Cultured fast.

I have purchased from Mercer several times now and have always received top quality Phyto. I have had a reef aquarium for over 20 years and until recently have purchased Phyto from several other online sellers . I bounced around from seller to seller because of the unreliability of the various vendors poor quality Phyto cultures . I am elated having found Mercers . Mercers cultures are always rich and viable. I use the to produce my own cultures at home and have never had a problem growing out Mercers culture. I believe it is of the highest quality Phyto available at the moment.

Packed well. No smell & fresh. Must shakes the bottle 1-2 days, whether use or not. Keep refrigerator and will last longer. Don't over dose, will increase NO3 & PO4. Always dose less than what requires.

I ordered this about two weeks ago sand it came extremely fast and well packaged! The directions were easy to follow and all seemed great. I put it in a fish bowl as suggested with bubbles, temp sitting about 82, 16 hours of light and spring water. I have nothing but very light green water, like a aloe water. Please let me know what I'm doing wrong?!?!?!? I will update my review but so far 4 stars because so far everything is great except what I might have messed up! (This is from my phone I will fix errors later!!)

I have purchased Phytoplankton from multiple sellers. When you buy from Mercer's you will immediately notice how much darker and denser this Phyto is than its competitors. I have used it multiple times for starting my own cultures.

Good product

I will definitely buy this again - it grew really fast and is a very healthy strain. I've dried culturing 2 other vendors phyto and it didn't grow nearly as well. I put it in 2 bottles with 50/50 phyto & saltwater and added Mercer of Montana's f/2 fertilizer. Aerated with a mini bubbler and used a small grow light bulb pointed at the bottles. Ready to harvest 1 week later. Highly recommend.

I have purchased phyto from two other companies.... one large and one small. Their phyto us far superior than the other two I purchased, both charging astronomical shipping charges. The first time I purchased from them I was new to culturing phyto myself, and I was concerned that it wouldn't get to me in time for it to be usable. They contacted me right back with information that was accurate. I like to choose a company for its 1. product 2. customer service. This company is top notched! Thank you!!!! From a rookie.
