I ordered the WeiVision 360 view cameras and 7” monitor. I wanted to see how well it worked on my older Toyota Corolla. I decided to hook up the cameras and monitor before installing in the car. I used an external harddrive power supply to test the system. I was not able get the system to work. I emailed Lucy at the address provided and got an immediate response from her. Several emails back and forth with her in the next hour or two got all my issues resolved. Lucy was a great help. I recommend highly that you contact her if you have any issues. Once I knew the system was working, I started installing in the car. Getting to the side mirrors was somewhat of a challenge, but got it done with some effort. I use my cigarette lighter to power the system. Since the car does not have blinkers in the side mirrors, I decided I didn’t need the system automatically switch to a side view when I’m turning. I could have wired to the front or back turn lights, but I didn’t feel that it was important enough. The final step was calibration. It takes a little time, but if you step through the process, it works as intended. The front camera as I installed it was partially blocked by the bumper. I emailed Lucy again and was offered a modified camera that was designed for a Toyota. Great service! The monitor that comes with this system has a second input so I can connect my phone (with an RCA accessory) and see a Maps view for driving directions. I’m very happy with the system and will be installing in our Lexus at some future date. I highly recommend that you test your system before installing in the car. It’s best to know how everything works before spending the labor to install all wires and cameras. The support from the WeiVision team was excellent. It was very helpful to get the support when I needed it.

I originally bought this for my car, but ended up installing it on my elderly father's mobility scooter. Amazingly, this system worked on the scooter even though the manufacturer probably never imagined that it would be used on one. I had to use manual calibration, but it was easy to do, and once calibrated it worked great. As other reviewers have noted, the monitor isn't the greatest. It has decent resolution and image quality, but the field of view is very narrow and requires that it be mounted to face directly at the viewer's eyes. If it's even a little off, the image basically disappears so you'll end up moving your head all over the place to find the sweet spot where the image can be seen--not something you should do while driving. The instructions were much better than you normally see on Chinese products, but still not up to US standards. You have to guess at some of the system settings and camera installation, and as usual there simply wasn't enough detail to make installation smooth, so it took a lot of trial and error before the job was done. The Chinese really need to work on this aspect of their products.

I installed this on a 2008 F250 and installing on tow mirrors is really difficult but not impossible. After installation, I realized that the monitor this comes with is not worth it. The quality of themonitor is horrible no matter how you adjust the settings. Also, after just three days, my rear camera has 3 green dots that will not go away. I thought it was light reflection at first but still shows up at night without light shining on it. The instructions are okay but not the best. For example, the mirror cameras have white lines on them and the instructions do not really say what they are for but I looked at some youtube videos for similar systems and it seems that they are supposed to point outwards. Calibration is a pain and maybe not ideal for a bigger truck. I have followed the instructions to a T and have not been able to calibrate well. The right and left turn just looks bad and barely sees the lane next to you. I bought this system mainly because I have 5% tint and at night can be more difficult to see so this lets me see a bit better but honestly not really worth it. If you have a smaller sedan or midsized truck, this might just work but if you have a larger vehicle, you should spend the money for a better system which is what I will just end up doing.

I had a couple issues with this system, but mostly because the instruction manual was not completely clear. I was able to contact weivision over amazon and email, and they were extremely prompt (<24 hours turnaround time) and very courteous. I would highly recommend Weivision systems to anybody looking for an aftermarket 360 camera system.
