Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone: Ravenclaw Edition; Black and Blue

It's Harry Potter, of course it's good! Philosopher's Stone is a magnificent foray into a magical world full of color, warmth, fun, happiness, friendship, and good lessons. All ages will enjoy. If you're skeptical about joining the Harry Potter world, think about the fact that it's the best selling literary series in the world and give it a try. It's a relatively short book and an easy read. You won't regret it. I got the house edition: Ravenclaw. For starters, the colors are blue and bronze (unlike the movies where they changed it to silver). Also, it's full of house pride. Extra content at the beginning and end of the book, details about the house and famous Ravenclaws (like the witch who invented Floo Powder!) - all add up to a collectible I'm proud to have on my shelf. Solid binding and delicate printing make it pretty and elegant.

Obviously, it's hard not to love this series. This edition is one of the most beautiful editions I have owned. It is the Ravenclaw Edition which was printed for the 20th Anniversary of the first publishing of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (you can find Editions for all of the houses). What makes this edition different besidea the cover is the bonus information inside. You get information about the House, the founder, notable people who have come from that house, the house ghost and even a fun quiz to take at the back of the book. I hope they do something similar for the 20th Anniversary of all of the books in the series.

I just bought two of these for my two Ravenclaw friends for Christmas (I know, early lol) and they were advertised as Very Good condition but they could have been labeled Brand New because aside from a minuscule tear in the dust jacket (probably from being transported) they are spotless! Will just have to keep them in peak condition for 5 months :)

I LOVE this book! I was so hesitant to buy it at first because of the reviews where the book was heavily damaged upon delivery, but my book is in perfect condition! The sticker is a little scratched but nothing to be annoyed about! I am a very proud Ravenclaw and can’t get over how obsessed I am with this edition!

This book is beautifully presented and comes with a few pages of extra information and illustrations. It would be a perfect gift for any wanna-be Ravenclaw and would look beautiful in any Ravenclaw themed bedroom. I very much recommend these house versions if you're wanting to buy the series.

Ich habe bereits zu viele Versionen von Harry Potter, aber als ich diese sah, konnte ich nicht widerstehen und habe sie mir geholt. Die Informationen über Ravenclaw sind allesamt auf sehr hübsch gestalteten Seiten gedruckt worden. Es sind Bilder mit dabei und sogar ein kleines Quiz, was ich ganz süß fand. Letztlich kann man wohl sagen, dass man es nicht braucht, wenn man bereits die Bücher hat (auf Deutsch oder sonst einer Sprache), aber es ist auf jeden Fall ein Hingucker, wenn man 'seine' Hausfarben als Cover hat. Mir gefällt es sehr gut und ich bin sehr zufrieden damit. Die Lieferung war auch sehr fix. Hab es erst Samstag bestellt und heute kam es schon an (obwohl Dienstag gesagt wurde.) Ist auch alles an Ort und Stelle :)

These special addition Harry potter books are amazing, i got them as a surprise gift for my wife and she absolutely loved them. Thank you JK Rowling for creating such an amazing universe for my wife to enjoy.
