I have owned it for several days. Easily added on TD SSD drive. Cools okay. Great build much better than the old steel series. Has Nice nice keyboard too. The only issue I had was trying to run Mech warrior 5. I ran it stock out of the box at full graphics and the game would shake and crash and give me a running out of vid memory. I know that can't be an issue as I run the game on high with an MSI GV62 BRD with a 1051TI card at high with no issues. I did dump some bloatware such as Disney and the free gaming XBOX and lowered graphics to high and the game ran okay. I will be experimenting further. Update 12/6/22 I can now play it on Ultra with no issues. Dumping the bloatware and updating graphics drivers. seems to have solved the problem. Laptop runs at 70c when playing Mech warrior 5 at max graphics settings. For $1099 bucks on sale it was an excellent buy.

I bought this to replace my antique HP laptop because I do video editing and I’m starting to branch out and learn 3D modeling with Blendr and Daz3D. . It tackles renders fairly quick and doesn’t lag when editing video with Davinci Resolve. Battery life can be short depending on how hard you are pushing it but I keep it plugged in mostly. I would definitely recommend getting a cooling stand with fans to put under it because the bottom will get hot under a constant workload. I love mine so far! 11/4/23 EDIT. Started playing FiveM GTA and Ark Ascended on the laptop and can run both on very high settings with no sweat. Laptop still going strong. I should’ve opted for the larger Hard Drive but will add an external SSD soon. 500GB runs out of space fast. Loving this little powerhouse of a laptop!

This laptop is a beast in some ways and a brick in others. I will say, it runs any game I've tried at max settings (WOW, Overwatch, Minecraft, Bethesda games) with no stuttering or lag. Storage fills up so fast now days I'd recommend going for large storage. The cons are the heat. I could be running an 8 bit game on low settings and the fan is sounding like Elon's rocket the same as if I was running Skyrim max graphics with 20 mods active. The thing runs hot to the touch despite the fans running like a rocket engine. The battery may as well be a single double A battery. It sucks. I unplug it and have 27 minute estimate WITH NOTHING OPEN AND RUNNING. Insane how bad it is. But who plays games without the thing plugged in? I also had some issues with the fan just not working but once I replaced it has not crapped out in two years. Also The power hookup is stupid. I wish laptops would make a better locking power port, it will fall out at least once or more in any gaming session.

The laptop is great, quality-price. The only thing is not so good is the battery life but you can improve it and plug it in if you need to play video games or work hard with it. It can also heat up especially when you are playing, but that is normal too for a gaming laptop, you can turn onn fans to cool it down which is great, and in my personal opinions they are just a little noisy. I say it is a good buy If you want somethung fast and if you don't mind pluging it constantly or using a cooling table. I am happy with it so far.

As the headline leads on, I bought the 12th Gen i7 version RTX 3070 of the Pulse GL66. It DOES NOT have a 2.5 inch space or slot. It does however has a second NVME slot for storage next to the battery plug when you open it up; please buy a NVME if you plan to expand storage. It may not read the first time. Look for guides online for command prompt and diskpart for the laptop to read the extra NVME. (: Otherwise, it's a great laptop I managed to get a a bargain. Step up from my i7 8th gen GTX 1060 laptop I've had for a few years.

Bought this for my son when he went to college. This is a good computer. Like all laptops, it comes with all the extra apps and crap that we all hate. You'll need to trim those up to get the full performance out of it. For a 3070 based laptop, it also has pretty short battery life and it runs pretty hot. Your fan will be running a lot. With that said, the build quality is good and it games well in addition to the other things you might want it to do.

I’ve had this PC for a while now I’ve done pretty everything you’d expect for a gaming laptop top the design is decent laptop quality it fine over the last year or some some have the keys paint has worn but that’s to be expected with everyday use. Set was easy capable of any game currently out there, would recommend a ram upgrade tho . Over all 10/10

I bought this laptop for just 1099$ on sale and I'm absolutely satisfied. After setting up Gaming mode in MSI Center and updating Nvidia drivers all latest games that I play run smoothly, without freezes. Running heavy games laptop soon becomes hot on center top, but cooling system works well and handles it. But it's very noisy when running on full speed. Screen is good, I didn't have other laptops in same price category to compare, but this one is okay to me. Battery is a weak side of this laptop. Don't expect to spend some hours in cafe doing your work on it, battery lasts for very very short time. Great that laptop has additional slot for SSD memory stick and two slots for RAM, so you can extend it.

Es una Laptop relativamente delgada y ligera, me refiero a relativamente porque es una Laptop para jugar, es muy fácil de hacer los upgrades de capacidad en disco y memoria RAM. Como toda laptop gamer hace un ruido considerable por el doble ventilador, además se agradece que se puede controlar la velocidad del mismo con accesos rápidos del teclado, si algo se le puede reprochar a esta máquina es que el RGB es de los más limitados que he visto, 4-5 efectos con pocos colores cuando en el mercado existen opciones con millones de colores y personalización a nivel de tecla, si eso no te importa (como a mi) y quieres una laptop disctreta pero poderosa, esta es tu opción, tiene una construcción robusta y de buena calidad, pudiera tener el trackpad un poco más grande pero la verdad no lo vas a usar mucho porque si es para juegos optarias por un mouse, así como en toda laptop gamer, el teclado es incómodo para trabajar ya que tiene una sensación extraña, creo que si optas por este modelo ya tienes experiencia en el uso de teclados con switches mecánicos y preferirias un teclado mecánico para jugar. Por otro lado tiene poca duración de la bateria (2-3 horas) pero si la configuras adecuadamente y cuidas los procesos puede extenderse hasta 4-5 horas, si vas a jugar, definitivamente debe ser con el cargador conectado, tiene un modo que cambia el proceso gráfico de la RTX a la tarjeta gráfica de Intel dependiendo lo que estés haciendo y así evitar el calentamiento y obviemnet en gasto de batería(blanco: intel, naranja: RTX). En fin, es una exclente opción para trabajar y jugar, es una laptop sobria y elegante al mismo tiempo, estoy muy satifecho con la compra

Me encanta su diseño elegante y atrevido sin ser tan llamativo pero sin verse aburrido o muy plano de estilo, la laptop es potente y muy veloz, puede con todas las tareas que necesites, incluso jugando en resolución 2K (2560x1440p) puede llevar tus juegos en calidad alta a unos estables y fluidos 60fps y para competitivos shooters o de acción rapida a 1080p puedes llegar a los 144fps sin problema, lo único malo viene en su ampliación de almacenamiento donde solo te da la opción de agregar un SSD M.2 extra y no un SSD Sata, cosa que en modelos mas viejos si venía la conexión pero en éste ya no lo cual es una lastima pues tengo mi SSD sata que ya no le podré instalar a ésta laptop, de ahí en fuera en cuanto a rendimiento, estética y todo lo demás es un 5 Estrellas, y si la consigues en oferta por menos de 30Mil pesos es la mejor laptop que puedas comprar
